Great bang for the bucks. Not pretentious, just decent quality hotel stays. The room has a very efficient layout. I particularly liked that the bathroom and shower are two separate rooms, reminds me of Japan. Toilet paper is high quality. Handwashing sink is in its own slot. The tissues provided are of great quality, very thick and nice. Bed is comfortable. These are impressive things.
Front desk staff spoke good English and are helpful when needed. My room didn't have a chair by default, but upon request they brought me one. I can see how it may not need to be in the room for many, but it's good to have it available upon request.
A few minor but awkward things for me. First, the safe under the desk. It is left open for use, so the door by default opens further than the depth of the counter. That is somewhat dangerous and could get caught on the leg when walking into it the wrong way. Second, the floor to ceiling curtain that shields light and provides privacy is not 100% light blocking. It's be better to make the width much wider, or a mechanism that can attach the screen/curtain to the wall without a gap.
The property is clean and modern. Fairly quiet for being in the center of the city. Mostly we had a pleasant stay. But there were two women that were absolutely not considerate of other guests, and talked and laughed so loud at 6am as they left their room to use the elevator. Woke us up with their loudness. Rude. But can't change guests. read more
