High hopes and on the outside, it looks lovely. Once inside the rooms, it's a dump. Poor water pressure, filthy carpets, mismatched furniture, and on the whole rooms that are in dire need of upgrade. Our suite said it slept 4 but there was a king bed, a loveseat, and a regular (dirty) couch. How does that add up? How does that accommodate four people? Staff was reasonably friendly and there is a lovely woman in housekeeping who was helpful and kind. But, this room is so gross that I have to wear my shoes all the time. What's with the algae filled pool outside? Fix it or drain it and plant in the space. Ew. Our family reserved a block of rooms and one of the suites didn't have working air conditioning upon our arrival and ours never cooled the room to the set temperature. Old jacuzzi tubs are stained. Mattresses are rock hard. There must be a better option in SLP. Lobby and restaurant are pretty but I can't sleep there. read more

The rooms need serious repairs and upgrades ..some lights were not working, shower was broken, stained mirrors , curtains and towels are old and some are even ripped, the shampoo , conditioner and lotion bottles were empty and there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Food wasn't great and they have the buffet completely exposed , flies around food etc Personnel is friendly but they do the minimum for guests. I've seen 2-3 star hotels a lot better than this place. read more

Total top shelf stay - hands down. This has to be one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in Mexico...period. And, being married to Marriott - that's saying a lot!!! Great rooms - extremely nice property and very good in house dinning. It's also located not too far from some Other cool spots in SLP for us expats. Best part...the novelty / goodies drawer. Second stay at same hotel. I stayed in a suite last time. This time I stayed in a regular bedroom occupancy room. Very enjoyable stay. Two minor issues. Hotel is under construction kinda like the entire town. Shower valve doesn't get completely hot. Water was almost warm. read more

No way to go there. It's really a nice place BUT: 1. They have huge parties at the weekend and you have absolutely NO CHANCE TO SLEEP UNTIL 5am 2. Big lack of security as EVERYBODY just can walk in and knock on your door. Better take one of the hotels next door as the area is very nice. read more
