The rooms are very modern without feeling cold and I love the pants press! The rooms are comfortably outfitted and there is plenty of open space so that you aren't bumping into the bed while trying to open the mini bar as in some business class hotels in Germany. Beds super comfy and of course, everything is immaculate. Breakfast is supurb with and excellent selection of American & British breakfast items as well as the typical German fare.

this hotel has some very nice perks, and some very bad one…read more I shall list them in pro/con style pro: this hotel offers by far the best hotel breakfast I have encountered anywhere in the world, bar none. fresh squeezed orange juice, sandwiches made with fresh baked bread and straight from the farm produce, multiple loaves of baked fresh break and rolls every morning...usually still steaming. eggs anyway you want them, bacon sausage, fresh yogurt with multiple toppings that you can add as you like it. fresh cheeses, from brie to Gouda, and fresh croissant s...regular and chocolate filled. the food is plentiful and absolutely delicious. the location of the hotel in the city is excellent. everything is in walking distance, and if you do wish to venture further, the trolly stops right in front of the door to the hotel. the hotel is moder. and elegantly appointed and the service is good. cons: the rooms the "large bed" is actually two beds, twin sized, pushed together. god forbid you roll over in your sleep, because the beds are not attached to the floor of each other they split apart and you wake up on the floor. the blankets are also twin sized only, and while warm and cozy, they are too small to cover anyone over 200lbs. the sheets they use on the mattress crinkle under you causing uncomfortable lumps, and if you dare sweat (bad dreams anyone) you wake up in a wet bed. the elevators are weird, if you press down they will go up first if someone else pushed the button. the parking garage is expensive, as well as confusingly laid out. you can only pay on one level, and if you have to park lower you must come to another level of the garage to pay. if you take the stairs, they don't lead to the hotel but exit just outside instead. I would stay here again if I must, for the breakfast alone, but I can't wait to get home and sleep in a actual bed vs. the children's beds pushed together here. this hotel has a lot going for it, sadly I have found the inability to get a good night's rest here to be a major con, and since a bed to sleep in is the basic for a good hotel, I cannot justify more than two stars.
