As always, the food was spectacular and extremely delicious.
First course was a duo of duck (duck liver paté and fried chest with an asparagus salad), followed by fried bass filet and shrimp with sepiaspaghetti and a saffron sauce. Next came strips of beef fillet and braised beef-cheek with May-Morels, potatoe gnocchi and a variation of vegetables. And last, but not least a curd cheese soufflé with marinated strawberries and strawberry icecream.
Each course was served with a glass of matching, regional wine.
The whole package was an explosion of different tastes and textures, heaven in our mouths.
The staff was very friendly, very competent, very attentive but still far away to guarantee our privacy.
It was nice that the boss lady checked on us periodically and asked if everything was to our liking and that Mr. boss man who is the responsible for the kitchen showed up as well at our table to check if we were happy.
As always a fantastic meal in a wonderful, warm athmosphere. We already made it clear, that we will come again soon, but latest for next years gourmet festival!
