Each guest is given a key to the outside door as well as to their room. The room was clean and you can tell it's an older building that has had add-ons and changes so there are some quirky features here and there, but I loved it! Every person who works there went above and beyond to be friendly and nice as well. Breakfast is included and is a continental breakfast with fruit, bread and coffee but a small breakfast menu is available for a full breakfast at a reasonable price. I speak Spanish, but the people at the hotel were bilingual if that is a concern. If you are traveling to Quedo and want to be in the historic downtown close to museums the plaza and everything else going on this is a great choice!

So, we had a little trek to their restaurant. It was a breathtaking affair just sitting in the foyer listening to the piano and sipping local vino. The manager was gracious and helped with our meal selection as well as set up a tour of the hotel. So, why wouldn't I give it five stars? Because the meal itself was not to the level of the atmosphere. It was really good, but we have had some A+ meals in that region of Mexico (especially coming from San Miguel de Allende). So, this spot was terrific so spend a nice afternoon inside the main room, sipping wine and enjoying this magical city.

Checking in was easy, but not very friendly. It includes breakfast, they serve a complete buffet 7-10am. Omelette station, fruits, fresh juices, a few dishes, pastries. I have no complaints about food. Room was ok, flat screen tv, semi-clean. Bathrooms are really small. I ran out of toilet paper and shampoo a couple times, one day I didn't get ANY towels, I had to call the front desk to get some. One of the rooms has a small balcony, but it was really dirty. It even had broken glass on the ground. There is a tiny gym on the 6th fl, and outdoor swimming pool w/ jacuzzi on the roof, small too. View from 7th floor is really cool. This hotel needs better customer service, and they need to do better with cleaning.

The rooms are a bit dated. The coffee at the breakfast is not great. It's from one of those dispenser machines. The pool is ok. No views of the city at the top. The workout room is small and limited on exercise options. The complimentary breakfast is ok. Go to Starbucks for coffee, it's just outside of the hotel.
