The service staff are very friendly and helpful. We walked there on a quiet Sunday afternoon, the hotel staff could refuse to service us as there were no other customer dining on the terrace. However, they treated us very nicely and make us feel we want to walk there every other week. The view is amazing, in comparison to hotel Villa Honegg, I feel much more relaxed at the Seeblick with the panoramic view, especially the driveway is less pressured, and of course the staff is much more approachable.

The noise pollution during the work week, starting at 7:30AM (!!!) until 4PM, is deafening and makes a stay at this hotel a total disaster! Where's the courtesy and responsibility of the hotel management to provide cautionary information to guests from abroad about this nuisance? I am extremely disappointed in how this situation is being handled by this otherwise reputable hotel! Dec. 23, 2015 Management of the hotel has taken my suggestion into consideration and posted a cautionary note about the noise situation on the reception desk as well as provided respective notes on their website. One cannot expect more and I appreciate that the hotel management followed-through on my observation which will be helpful for all future guests during the next few weeks. Their staff is so friendly and will go out of the way to help you. The rooms are a cross between modern and antique with beautiful chandeliers, gorgeous old sinks and other furnishings with all the modern conveniences. The bed was perfect for sleeping and I am picky! It's beautiful waking up to the lake out your window! They offer expresso, tea, snacks, and wine as amenities along with bikes and a wealth of knowledge about sites to be seen in and around Switzerland. And did I mention their complimentary breakfast and amazing dinners! I can't say enough! Breakfast has everything from fresh bread to cured meat, cheeses, fresh fruit, homemade jams and other goodies daily. You have to make reservations for dinner as Dani is the only chef in a small but highly efficient kitchen...drinks start at 6:30 sharp and they offer samples of their meats and cheese. Dinner is three to four courses...on the night we ate there we had chanterelle mushroom soup, smoked salmon, mushroom ravioli(the best I've ever had!!!!
