I am a steam room, (Turkish bath), aficionado, theirs is the best so far, (compare to Four Seasons Biltmore Santa Barbara). The staff was matchless throughout the hotel. The breakfast was more than expected, They quickly learned how I liked my coffee and would bring it to me as I arrived, much to my delight. The food was more $ than I expected, however - it was less $ than it should have been, our best meal in Italy. The con: The spa needed some mild training, (I think if my Italian was better or their English was a piccolo better it would have been easier, but the facility was impressive. Just doesn't make any sense. For the car parking we were told $29 per day. On the bill was $39 per day, the explanation was that the car was inside in the parking, not outside. Drinks were good, but not any gluten-free lunch options. The gym and spa were both nice. We loved the heated lappool, sauna, and steam rooms. There were definitely signs of wear, though; needing maintenance and repair of the tile and calk. Good breakfast with gf options, including a nice little gf croissant they warmed up for me. Location was just across the road to the beach and boardwalk and an easy walking distance (10 mins or so) to the part of town with most of the restaurants and bars.

Our very knowledgeable and professional server took care of all the tables and seemed really passionate about their allergin conscious cuisine. The gf bread they served was unfortunately not the best, but I loved the egg based amuse bouche, and then the first course sampler was fantastic. The husband and I shared the bolognese ravioli for our primi, and it was absolutely outstanding and one of the most memorable dishes of the night. For secondi, I had the fried seafood, and the husband of mine had the pork rib. Both were not well seasoned and a bit tough to get through. Portions were large, leaving no room for dessert. The first few courses and the fabulous attention to crafting dishes celiacs usually wouldn't get to have, make this place a must visit if you're gf.
