Overall, a clean, nice hotel on Elba Island. The rooms are a bit dated and bare, but you spend most of the days enjoying the island anyway, it isn't such a big deal.
The hotel boasts two swimming pools and a "beach." If you're expecting a sandy beach with ocean waves, prepare to be disappointed. This version is almost like a rock quarry, with cement overlay and a little ladder to access the water.
The resort would warrant 4 stars if not by the rudeness by some of its staff. The restaurant at Elba International does not know how to treat their guests, especially by their senior management. They are discriminatory to certain cultures and simply do not know how to communicate like civilized service staff.
I would recommend another location for your visits if you do not want to be troubled by their backwards, dated attitude towards their guests. read more
