I feel generous giving them two stars. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 nights and it is budget friendly and having all inclusive is great. However I was very dissatisfied with my stay.
The bad: The curtains were disgusting stains all over them, there was something splattered on the art on the wall (food or blood who knows), the drain cover in our shower slid right off if you touched it (super gross), our safe didn't want to work at first, I could go on. To make matters worse, we had suspicions that the maid was going through our stuff so we set everything up in a specific way and took pictures of how we folded our clothes and put our stuff in our suitcase and after we had came back from another outing after she had cleaned, we knew for sure she had and we were right. As we were checking out we were told the maid found a towel that had been ripped in our room (they were stingy on even giving us new towels so I knew for a fact none had been ripped by us) and we had to pay for the towel before we left, most likely by the maid we hadn't tipped since she was going through our things. The food wasn't the best and if you didn't get to the restaurant right as they started it would be much worse and cold. (Also you take the stairs to your room, if anyone has a wheel chair they have ramps only to first floor levels)
The good: We did have one server named Antonio who was very nice and always greeted us with a smile. When you stay you don't have to walk far for the beach and they have decent sized pools. They offered entertainment every night. You get a towel card that way you can exchange and get new ones without having to pack beach towels.
I had a wonderful time in Cancún but with no thanks to this hotel. Wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend to a friend. read more
