I loved the high ceilings, beautiful wooden floor in the bedroom and marble (?) in the bathroom; the big wooden wardrobe, desk, and mirror, with old skeleton keys to open everything; the big windows (even one in the bathroom! At least in room 210) and long gorgeous drapes.
The only thing was that the shower always ran out of hot water after a couple minutes; and it smelled bad of mold, as there was indeed mold growing all over where they couldn't reach to clean it.
Also, there were always lots of front desk staff and one manager-like dude walking around doing nothing; but when we had a question, they seemed to want to get rid of us as soon as they could; they could have someone (or everyone) act more like a concierge, and be able to recommend places to go, instead of just giving directions without telling them anything about the place.
Just a suggestion. : ). read more
