Ok this place looks decent online. But.... the rooms are really basic, and lack some simple…read moreamenities like a shower that can maintain a temperature for more than 10 seconds before it burns or freezes you...or how about a coffee maker? And speaking of coffee, forget about getting any until 7am when the restaurant starts. There is nothing else around here besides office buildings, so you are trapped. And, when the restaurant does open, how about some cold gooey scrambled eggs and greasy meat? Want to go online to write a review? Best prepare to use your phone as a hotspot as the wireless is the speed of frozen gravy. This place is best utilized as a dorm for those traveling to one of the many offices in the neighborhood. Nothing more.

This was probably my least pleasant hotel stay in Europe in a while. The hotel is in Sant Cugat…read moretech park area, a drive from downtown, and it's a boring Holiday Inn Express, but that's to be expected, especially for the price. The staff were friendly and spoke great English (and presumably lots of other languages). There's plenty of outdoor parking. The entire property seemed clean. However, the wifi was essentially unusable. The walls between rooms were very thin, leading to noise all night. There were minor maintenance issues in my room (bathroom fixtures, hvac); I'm a platinum elite with ihg so presumably I got one of the better rooms, which means other rooms might be worse. The breakfast looked unimpressive (maybe I've been spoiled by other hotels in the area), so I skipped it. I had a 2-night stay booked, but the hotel let me check out a day early with no hassle, so I went to another hotel. I would not return, and would not recommend this property.

Since they have separated reviews for hotel and restaurant I just can point out that both experiences have been exceptional. Hotel is an old masia (farmer house) repurposed in boutique hotel) and has all the amenities you like to enjoy. You are not in downtown Sant Cugat but just 15 minutes drive. It is a perfect location to stay overnight if you have any business meeting at any of the international companies nearby. Get the room that faces the patio, they put a cute little table and chairs and it is very quaint, or if you prefer more lively atmosphere, the patio is full of people having a drink and enjoying the sunset.
