The only reason for 4 stars and not five was the cigarette smoke. Being from the US I'm use to no smoking in restaurants and common areas, but like most of the area smoking is still ok. Had the fresh trout one night for dinner and it was GREAT, no kidding I would have never thought that this meal came from a small hotel like this, just goes to show not to judge before you try. Had my clothes washed on this leg of my trip and I'm not sure what they added or did to my clothes but they smell so fresh. The entire staff was great from the gals that took care of breakfast to the people that touched up my room. And even if you lack the language skills to converse in German, pretty much everyone speaks English. If I'm ever back for work in the area I will stay here and try some more fish. Last thing the train from the Vienna airport runs straight thru town and runs @ 30 euro's better price than an of the other options made available.

There is a restaurant and bar located on the second floor. The food is good and prices are reasonable for a hotel restaurant. The hotel has a sauna and steam room but no exercise facilities that I came across. However, there are many areas to walk and jog around the hotel. This is better anyway as you get a chance to the see the beautiful scenery of the surrounding area.
