Well what I got was great service. The lady at the front is responsible for cleaning the rooms too. Everyday my room was serviced with fresh towels (which you don't see at every hotel these days). The room was cozy, and the heater worked well. The bed was fantastic and I got great sleep each night. The room is stocked with shampoo, conditioner and lotion dispensers. Room had a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and direct tv. Also had an iron and ironing board which I needed. There was plenty of lighting too. The lighting was set up so you can get the light level you want.

We pulled off the highway and went to the first place we found. There was a fairly large group of people in the lobby (some staying there and some travelers) and Eva was calmly talking to everyone about the weather and offering shelter in their interior laundry room. She kept the group informed throughout and when the tornado had safely passed she offered coffee and popcorn to everyone and wished them well. The rooms have outdoor seating in both the front and back of the rooms- a nice surprise! Also have access to the pool (though we didn't have time to use). Next time we will be utilizing the golf cart to get around town! Soon after checking in, we realized our Roku was broken. Veronika was immediately super helpful and we eventually realized the issue and got it fixed right away. While she was apologetic, there was nothing that she had done and fixed the issue right away. The motel is super close to both the local bakery and Patti's so there's plenty of options for local food. Would absolutely return to this location.

Grand Rivers Inn is a typical motel, the kind we would typically pass by in lieu of a nicer, more established chain hotel. I dont mind places like this and am used to staying in them though. Anyway, our room was decent. The inn is a mom and pop operation; this is both good and bad. On the good side, it means its well maintained and you get personalized service. When we got there, there wasnt anybody in the office, but I called the number posted on the door and someone came over from the bar across the street. Later, when we had trouble getting the TV to work, she came to our room and helped to get it working. On the down side, most of the amenities (other than the TV) are a bit old, there's no breakfast and there's not a ton of rooms; you may also not see this place show up on your typical hotel apps. Normally I would rate a place like this 3 stars, but the service was so good and the place had a certain charm about it, so I gave it 4. If I were looking for a place to stay in this area, I would stay here again.

We stayed at the recently renovated Holiday House, and it was fantastic! There were 5 adults and 1 toddler, and we had so much space, with the little one able to even have her own room. And a big enough space that no one woke her when she went to bed earlier than the rest of us! From the patio lighting to the fire pit, it was just such an inviting experience. And everyone was so kind and helpful. While we're from the area, we came into town for a wedding in Paducah, and even though it was a little bit of a drive, I would do it 100x over to get to stay at Holiday Hills. I showed the email and text to Cash App so cash app refunded the room of one night out of the 6 I stayed there. When Monday came- Mr Patel informed me that he changes his mind and withdrew his refund that cash app gave only to have it taken out of my account again and left me in negative. That account is still negative because of him.
