Einer der jungen Wirte (ich glaube ein Sohn des Hauses) hat sich heute völlig daneben benommen, im vollen Lokal rumgeschrien und uns beschimpft. Es hat ihm nicht gefallen, dass eine Person in unserer Gruppe ihm beim Bestellen nicht die aus seiner Sicht notwendige Ehrfurcht zukommen lies. Als Quittung bekam sie einen (1!) Klos und ein Löffelchen Kraut serviert. - als Hauptmahlzeit. Als ich an die Theke ging, und um eine angemessene Portion bat, würde ich mit einer Tirade des Frusts und Unverschämtheiten konfrontiert. Dabei hatte ich wirklich freundlich mit dem jungen Mann gesprochen. Er ist völlig ausgerastet. Sein Kollege musste den Tisch weiter bedienen.... Tun sie sich den Lümmel nicht an. Sie haben eine respektvolle Behandlung als Gast verdient. Es gibt so viele andere Restaurants in der Pfalz, in denen die Wirte sich im Griff haben. Dem jungen Mann selbst rate ich zu einem Berufswechsel.

Located in between Ramstein AB and Volgewgh. Perfect spot. Would definitely recommend this place for any one going TDY, or PCS.

I stayed at No.31 for a short trip last month, to attend an old friend's birthday party and visit…read morethe Pfalz area. I booked the La Vie en Rose room, beautifully furnished in art deco style and with a comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the proprietor (Britt) seems to have thought of everything, including a hairdryer, an alarm clock and a kettle. Britt really took care of me, booking a restaurant for me and advising me of local places to visit. I spent a day at the nearby spa, a lovely afternoon in what I would call shoe heaven (a town where there are several shoe outlets) and the final day over the border in France. Both Britt and her partner (Paul) speak perfect English (Paul is originally from England) so I had no language problems. Oh, and one more thing, the breakfast was lovely, served in my room and I had a choice of French, German and English varieties!
