WORKING AIR CONDITIONING (Pun Intended). I do not understand why Europe does not and cannot get this right. To see it working simply makes me...want to break down and shed tears of joy. I thought the hotel food tasted pretty good as well. I'd go with the Lasagna. Disclaimer: it's salty, but what European dish laden with it... The hotel itself holds a prime position in the small town of Wargrain. I highly recommend taking the lift to hike around the mountains. Beds were comfortable and they actually give you extra pillows (GASP.) Rooms each come with some form of a patio, whether it be inside or outside. Heck, they even put chocolate on your pillow. How cool! What's not cool? Construction on their pool during the summer. It's not like you're going to use the pool during the winter, so why did you decide to work on it when the temperatures skyrocket? Extremely disappointed with that decision. One of the ways this place got sold to our group is that it had a pool in the first place.

The food was absolutely delicious, the best we had during our holiday. The service was very friendly and we were made to feel at home the moment we entered the restaurant. We are planning to return to Wagrain in winter and will definitely be visiting the Grafenwirt again. We know the cook will be the same because he is also the owner!
