TV doesn't work. Has an indoor pool but kids aren't allowed. We did enjoy our stay here because it's in a cool beach area with restaurants and not overly touristy. The staff are very friendly here but the management of the hotel doesn't seem to be "on top" of issues.

The hotel has various rooms accommodating both families and singles and almost all rooms have beach views. The buffet style food was helpful for all schedules and offered enough variety to keep us satisfied. They had local dishes but universal favorites and the chefs and restaurant staff were super helpful if you had dietary questions and concerns. The beach is gorgeous and clean! You can walk along the beach and get your feet wet or be right at the beach on bikes or running along the promenade. It is safe and fun for kids. My only hesitation is that WiFi and any business concerns have to wait until you leave. The WiFi is not fast and for iPhones you have to log in again and again so you might miss messages and chats. However the hotel gave our gang a dedicated code which helped, but it is not the spot for doing business but great for retreats and holiday type events. The hotel is an easy walk from the station and trains run every 30 minutes most days. It is only about 1 hour 45 from the Barcelona airport and a beautiful trip along the coast. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to help and change things as needed. If you are looking for a great relaxing spot this secluded spot along the coast is highly recommended.

The promenade is 3-5 min walk and is bustling with families and locals all enjoying and having a good time. No drs or engineers or any shady people. Super safe area and prices are very reasonable compared to other parts of Spain. Infront of the hotel is the train station which takes you to Barcelona in 30-45 mins depending on where you wanna go. The hotel offers full room and board , if that's what you want. We got to experience the full board package and did not regret 1 bit. Each meal was something to look forward to. Lots of options and local offerings from meats to seafood, even paella. Free ice cream too and fresh fruits. Can't beat that. Wine prices are also reasonable like $15 euro ,,,but you can always buy Freon The grocery store as well. Staff very helpful and attentive. Yes, the rooms could be a bit outdated and the AC could use a bit of tuning up as it's having difficulties keeping up with the summer weather. But the rooms have a balcony that looks out to the pool area. Big pool with jacuzzi on the property. Own bar and pool table. Weekend nights, there's a show by the pool. Could be a comedian or magician, or some musician. Very lively and nice touch. Too bad i didn't take pictures. I would go back for sure and just relax in the area for a few days. This is a scenic road and driving was pleasant. The stay was good. The room was comparatively big with a huge balcony with a view of the pool. Ok American/Asian folks, in the whole of Europe, especially in Italy, you will find Bidet in the bathroom. A bidet is a specialized bathroom fixture for washing your undercarriage. It's the primary way that many people around the world clean themselves up after using the toilet. Yes like Asia, in Europe, they also prefer water. Not sure why they need extra fixtures for this. Though they provide the wifi it was not useful. I even complain but their logic was, there are so many customers, so that might be the case. Overall pool area-lounge- restaurant - all were excellent. Buffet provided by them was also good with plenty of options in entrée, dessert, and drinks. Would recommend this. Beach is just near to the hotel so I would suggest head for the beach in the early morning. It's awesome.

The hotel small but tranquil, well maintained, and the rooms are very clean. It is in a small ancient village, next to a old church and across the street from calafell castle... all of it worth a look. The calafell waterfront and train station is a 10-15 minute walk down the hill, full of restaurants and bars... so u got the best of both worlds, at the hotel the tranquility of a traditional village, and the nightlife of the water front. 100% worth checking out
