I chose this hotel due to the proximity to the Amsterdam airport. I wanted to buy a bottle of water. The receptionist told me to go to the bar. A bottle would cost me 6 Euros. So I instead asked for ice so I could cool the little water I had left on a bottle of water. The bartender headed to where the ice was and grabbed the ice with his hand and put it on a glass. I was too tired to call him out for it. You're given a choice to purchase breakfast for 15 Euros. I skipped on that. I was getting up early anyway to go to the airport. I had left my body lotion in Utrecht to make space for souvenirs. There is none in this hotel. The pump at the sink is only soap. Bring your toiletries. Other than that, I was happy I could open the room windows. read more

The hotel is excessively noisy, making it impossible to get any rest. The activities organized by the establishment, including the bar, clash with the primary principle of the hotel, which should prioritize allowing paying guests to sleep. read more

Perfect. Don't get the pizza down the street to the left. Don't get a Puegot from the rental car place. Don't take flash photography of a Rembrandt. Don't try to see all of Holland in 12 hours. Don't go looking for a toothbrush store in Aalsmeer at 1 AM. However. DO STAY AT THE HOTEL AALSMEER and DO HAVE DINNER IN THEIR EXCELLENT RESTAURANT! Couldn't recommend it more. read more

I've stayed here several times over the past 30 years or so, and have found it to be a dependable choice, always giving good value. I think it is still family operated. The last time I stayed here, a couple of years ago, I was delighted to find a comfortable small hotel with a good restaurant and parking. It is in a delightful small Dutch town, quite accessible from Schiphol Airport, with reasonable connections into Amsterdam and elsewhere in the Netherlands, and not far from the world-famous flower market. As I plan my next trip, I see only one other review. I hope a little additional attention will not ruin it...I want to stay here again. read more
