This stay the hotel was decked out in holiday decorations that helped make my stay-cation like home! They have a welcoming front desk that had a lovely woman who greeted me for my stay. My room was on the second floor near Second Story the hotel's restaurant, which has great food by the way! Antonio my waiter today told me to be sure to come try breakfast tomorrow, that they've got a new delicious breakfast menu! Also, they have a full bar at the restaurant. I love that the hotel is a small boutique hotel that is a Hilton Tapestry property so you can use your Hilton Honors to book your reservation and earn HH points! The hotel conveniently located on PCH (Sepulveda) and Rosecrans which is just a quick 5 minute to the beach, great shopping and restaurants across the street at Manhattan Village and at The Point! There is a Top Golf just a few minutes away and LAX and 405 Freeway close! And you can even hop on a METRO bus just outside the hotel for a quick ride to Hermosa Beach or to Redondo Beach and Pier! The rooms are spacious. I prefer the garden view rooms and queen beds but this stay I had a residential side view and two beds. The room was quiet and very clean, and I love the crisp corners of the bedsheets tucked neatly. They have amazingly comfy beds and all of the team of employees were friendly (between the house keeping staff, front desk, Antonio at the restaurant and even Sergio (goodness I think that was his name) at the valet! I love when the hotel makes you feel at home and greet you each time you're coming or going. Definitely makes you feel special. Since it's December I didn't get to the pool this times but maybe next time! I'll be back for sure!

The restaurant on site is great too, nice selection and has a happy hour and there is a nice walking trail close by as well. I would absolutely stay here again, everyone was so nice!!

The lobby had great vibes, and the 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle was a major plus. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and it's conveniently close to the highway and the beach. The popcorn bar was a nice, welcoming touch--though it wasn't always replenished. The room itself was very clean, and the balcony was a huge selling point and definitely a reason I'd return. 10/10.

This is 7min away from LAX and they provide a shuttle every 30 min. It can get packed VERY quickly (each person fighting for a spot) but it's close enough for an easy uber/lyft. Everyone was greeted right away. People felt approachable and kind. Inside the room (I think ours was the king, 2nd floor) was spacious enough and felt clean. A little stuffy and weird smell coming in but thankfully, they have a window you can open and let in fresh air (issue resolved), our window opened up to the back alley, but that's not something we care about too much. It was quiet. I barely heard any noise. The tv had a few options but not any app options like Netflix etc, we weren't able to mirror anything from Apple products. Bed was comfortable, easy to sleep. The room was chilly mid November but we like cold so we didn't bother to turn on the thermostat so I can't speak on that. It's nothing fancy fancy, but again if you are looking for a clean place to be that near LAX this is not a bad spot for the price. Whether just over night or a few days just to have a place to sleep However, I wouldn't say that you should get the breakfast included because it's nothing special and there is a grocery store and Starbucks right across the street and easy walk. I think only a fridge no microwave in the room That is another plus, there is a ton of fast food nearby! We walked easily. We felt safe enough to walk around Parking looks limited and from previous reviews looks like it could get pricey I wish they had those things you place your luggage on, I don't like putting it on the floor. They have a full body length mirror so that's nice if the bathroom is occupied

The front desk staff was extremely friendly and professional, and the lobby looked recently updated, which I appreciated. The gym, pool, and outdoor eating areas were a vibe, and the grounds were beautiful and very family-friendly. Parking was plentiful, and the property felt safe, quiet, and somewhat tucked away. The food service staff stood out as well--very personable and well-organized. One team member even walked around to tables checking in with guests, which was a nice touch. The beach is about a 27-minute walk each way. I walked there and back and didn't find it bad at all. Checkout was easy, my late checkout request was honored, and the staff went out of their way to give me a list of tourist attractions in San Diego since I was heading there after checkout. Accessibility & Cons: The parking spaces were tight, especially near Building #3. The pathway between the parking lot and the sidewalk was uneven and steep, which isn't ideal for guests with mobility challenges. We booked a one-bedroom loft, and while the room itself was really nice and unique, all of the lofts are on the second floor and there are no elevators. Traveling with my mom, who has mobility limitations, made this a challenge. Also, the room had a noticeable odor--hard to describe, but similar to a basement smell--which I wasn't a fan of. Overall, this was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it and stay here again. I'd also recommend checking out the loft rooms--they're very cool--just be mindful of the accessibility limitations.

Shuttle runs 24 hours and is frequent look for Loft & Fairfield Inn denoted shuttles, and call the hotel so they know you will be waiting, should see a shuttle within 30 minutes. My room was in the Tower several stories up, this required a short walk to an elevator that was not initially easily found, and I'd suggest more intuitive signage, but it was found, and the tower design minimizes hall traffic outside of rooms. I was solo, and had no issue with the small bathroom counter, but I was also prepared for a cruise ship so I had a hanging shaving Kit so counter space needs were minimized. The room was standard, but I also packed a white noise generator so external noise would not be an issue. Bedding was sufficient, but I'd request on checkin for an additional blanket for both warmth and weight. The breakfast dinning room was large, and the morning offerings included Yogurts, Breads with a Toaster, Cereals and Milk, Coffee and Dispenser Juices, Cooked Liquid Eggs, and Breakfast Meats. The buffet was well maintained by staff, and though crowded as it opened, was less packed as the service progressed. There is also a microwave in this space. In a protected courtyard there is a pool, fire pit, and a 24 hour basic gym with ample towels. There is also a weekday early evening paid happy hour bar service. Across the intersection is Ralph's supermarket, where I picked up some sparkling waters, and snacks. there are also numerous dining options, IN N OUT, Polo Loco, Jersey Mikes, Subway, plus Deli, Chinese, Hawaiian, etc. stopped at IN N OUT, during my early evening visit the walk up counter had no waiting though there were a lot of cars in line to order and pickup. Parking was $40+ across the street, and not the cheapest local option if you will be using a car. But I wanted a shuttle pickup at LAX, some walkable shopping and food options, onsite breakfast, a clean and low stress evening making this a good choice for my April 2026 booking. FYI room pricing fluctuates.

Great and friendly staff. Appreciated their kindness The takeaway is that the wifi was down And never came up. Also very small bathroom with weird sink location and poor counter space. This is my second stay at Extended Stay America in Los Angeles in El Segundo, with stay assistance…read morethrough the ACS. My first experience was not very impressive as the room was located right next to the lobby of the hotel, so I heard the sound of doors closing and opening frequently. And for some reason the room had a very dense oily scent - so the smell didn't add to a comfortable stay, although the front desk did what they could to alleviate the scent problem. However, this second stay, was a MUCH BETTER, clean and fresh so I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed in the studio room with a kitchenette, which is included in all of the rooms, and appreciated the amenities that they had available -- such as large refrigerator, microwave, kitchen supplies like frying pans, pots, dishes, mugs, and cups, utensils, as well as the use of a coffee maker and a toaster even! Truly a great opportunity to save money by cooking my own meals instead of eating out every day. Unlike other hotels around LAX, and I've been to four others, ESA operates differently -- they do not offer housekeeping unless you've stayed here for more than 14 days, as that is when they offer the housekeeping service fully. However, anytime I would need fresh towels. I could bring it to the lobby and they would exchange it with fresh ones. That would be the same for bedsheets as well. The downside of that is that with someone who have mobility disabilities and limited physical movements may have difficult time getting their housekeeping situation handled in a timely manner. They do offer extra housekeeping for price, and that would need to be discussed at the front desk. I believe it's additional $14 (?) per request. Every morning there is "breakfast" from 6:30 AM until 9:30 AM and the breakfast includes prepackaged muffins, snack bars, coffee - as well as flavored and plain oatmeal, coffee mixes, and hot chocolate. There is also a laundry facility on site, located right behind the lobby, and each load is five dollars and dryer is also preset at five dollars for 60 minutes. You can use coins or app from CSC laundry services. There's also a snack machine and a drink vending machine located inside the laundry room as well. There are four Washers and five dryers available, and the app will tell you how many minutes left on your wash and dry. The washer locks upon a payment, so you can leave your watch there for the duration which is about 43 minutes and for dryer there's no lock on it but it seems safe enough to leave it there until it finishes to pick up your laundry. Parking is paid through the front desk and it's a self-parking daily rate of $17. This particular ESA location is literally within minutes walking distance from Ralph's supermarket, which makes your grocery shopping very convenient. If you're located in the front of the property next to the lobby - Building A - then you would have to go towards the back and if you're in building B or C then you will see Ralph's Supermarket near where you're staying. There is a gate that separates the ESA and Ralphs; however, you'll see that there is an opening towards Ralph's. Ralph's is open 24 hours. Be aware that even though smoking is not allowed on the property within near distance to doors as per Los Angeles law, some of the hotel guests are not going to comply and possibly may smoke nearby the room. So if there are any problems, you should just let the office know. This also goes for people who smoke cannabis as well because that scent is recognizable around the property, though not very common. Also keep in mind that though walls and the floors are not very thick so you may hear the upstairs neighbor moving furniture or playing music. Service at the front desk is friendly, though at times they may be circling the property so they may not be available right away or maybe at the back office in a meeting so you could call them from a phone box outside of the lobby (Dial '0' for the Office) for assistance. They are short staffed with housekeeping at times so if you are patient, they're more than happy to be attentive to help your needs. Compared to other hotel, you can get some good rates if you look at their website or look for their sales throughout the year for reduced rates. However, you're getting a step up motel service experience with a full kitchenette and amenities that are not available in other hotels. Please be kind to your service workers, be mindful of your neighbors (as some are long-term guests) and you may find the property quiet and restful.

He went to move the drapes and a heroin needle was hidden in the drapes. The place is a pig sty. But it gets better, he went to the front desk with his bloody finger and they would do nothing about it. Not one thing. They told him to come back on Monday. They know their place is used as a shooting gallery, all locals do, but he had a job to do and is not a local. He has been forced with no help to get to a hospital, that will cost, and get this looked at. He could have been infected with all kinds of stuff, including, HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis or whatever else is running around. Their reaction to this event is appalling. This could have been your child and a lot of unknowing people stay there because it is close to LAX. They don't care at all. They know all about their junkies that get a room, bring up a bunch of friends and stay a few days. Meth is also used which is a health hazard. It was room 355. And of course I have called the Health Department. They need to be out of business, it is a franchise with clearly no oversight. Run.
