This place has really good deals on sandwiches! I had the egg, cheese and avocado on a bagel and they cooked up the omelette on the spot and added way more avocado than I expected! It was a really cheap deal and tasted really good, the cheese was melting off it. If I lived close I would probably order sandwiches here regularly. I love this place for the donuts. They're always so fresh and sometimes even warm when you get them. The reason for 3 stars is because the sandwiches are made in microwaves. This place used to be Luv'n Donuts, but now it's under new management. Even with the updates, this place is still the best in town at the blueberry donut game. Always fresh, soft, and delicious. Friendly service and usually a very short wait (unlike other places where you can sit in line for over an hour). The prices went up a tiny bit since the switch, but it's still a good price for an excellent donut. Used to be cash only, but now they accept cards (but there is a 50 cent fee). The hours are more limited, and they aren't open as late anymore. Despite all the changes, I'm really happy that this place is so close to home - it's the best in town BY FAR. I went there because I wanted a smoothie after the gym and that was the only place open early so I tried it l. Nice people but I will definitely not order a smoothie again. I ordered a strawberry and banana smoothie and got a strawberry icecream shake. All I can taste was sugar, sugar, sugar it was just strawberry icecream in a smoothie version not my type of smoothie. I was expecting just fresh or frozen strawberries & bananas but got strawberry icecream. Anyway nice mom n pops donut shop but definitely NOT smoothie qualified. read more

The owner, Sharon, is super nice and her donuts are exceptional. I highly recommend. I like donuts at all times of the day, so when my kids and I wanted a donut at 2 in the afternoon, Hot Donuts had a case full of fresh donuts! False advertisement!!!!! And won't even honor it. They need to update their menu pictures. Half dozen is $6 Dozen said $11 And single donuts I believe said $1.00 and up. So most likely everything else went up so I wouldn't go based on the menu prices on the pictures. Just FYI! Gave it a star because the donuts that I did see, looked scrumptious. This message is for management/owners: Simple as uploading the new menu pictures will not get you upset customers who drove specifically to your shop only to walk in see false advertising and walk back out. These are the best donuts you or I have ever had. We have to give credit to M&M Donuts for inventing the blueberry donut that every donut shop now has. However, it appears the copycats are now better than the original. Hot Donuts is one of those copycats. The best copycat. You MUST try their blueberry donut here. It is so soft and flavorful. The service is excellent and there is never a wait time. They take credit cards but they charge a 50-cent fee for it. Normally, this is a deal-breaker for me. However, since the donuts are so ridiculously cheap, it's reasonable to expect the customer to pay the credit card fee. read more

We went in here at around 5 in the afternoon. To get some donuts to bring for dessert at a dinner we were going to attend. It was kind of late so I was a little worried maybe the donuts would be stale. Nope, they were moist and fresh. I had half of a pineapple jelly and half of a Nutella chocolate chip. A fabulous place staffed by fabulous people! Great food at great prices with staff not afraid to go the extra 3 miles and reward nice people even they don't have to! A super nice family (as far as I could tell) runs it with at least one new mom and one lady who's son is a recent graduate of Bolsa Grande HS but who does not look like a woman who could biologically possibly have an 18yo child! But that just proves that it is a local biz with ties to the community and that it is run by people who care and work hard for those that they love - which is an extreme anomaly that should however not be one! I love this place and highly recommend it as the the best posable total amalgamation of reasonable prices - high quality food - top tier staff - wonderful local people who have passion for everyone and everything... especially for their families and community! read more

The woman that runs this place is amazing and so sweet. She knows my order and she knows what I like.. need I say more? I go here once a week to pick up donuts for my co workers. I always get the bakers dozen and she always asks about my life and how I'm doing.. how's work... love it here. This is my neighborhood donut store I couldn't ask for more! I was visiting in town from a different state and cae for the fruity pebble donut but they were unfortunately out. They then made one for me since I was visiting. They have amazing customer service and were very friendly, I felt like family or a friend rather than a customer. The donuts were fresh and tasted amazing.
