This is one of the coolest places I've ever stayed!! I'm an American and my level of French…read morespeaking is shameful but the staff was very accommodating. The concierge even used google translate so we could have a conversation during check-in!!
My partner and I stayed in Les Désespoire du Moine (The Despair of the Monk) and it was SO COOL. I truly can't describe it properly, you just have to see it in person. We had everything we needed: towels, blankets, coffee, etc. There was a GIANT bath tub and shower that I'll never get over.
There is a restaurant right next to the hotel (it might actually be part of it but I was unsure). We wanted to explore and eat in nearby Durbuy so we did not make a reservation. It seems like they really want you to go but it looked a little pricey, so just know you can opt out.
The most exciting part for me was the breakfast we were served in the morning. After eating only croissants and coffee every morning in Paris for 4 days, we were very excited about this huge meal. I'm attaching a picture because it's a sight to behold.
TLDR: Come check this place out!! You won't be disappointed.
