Part of the hospital chain of which the former Spanish king is client. I went there once several…read moreyears ago, had to wait for long experiencing severe pain before I was taken care of. Paid lots. No fun. Friend is a permanent client, says he's not happy the service. The main difference from any hospital covered by medical insurance is that you don't have to wait for several days before you're examined by a specialist. They also do operations not covered by public medical insurance system (like plastic surgery). Many doctors work here and in government hospitals at different times of the day. Buy a private medical insurance (some €1000 a year) and you will be attended here. Great access via N-332 from different parts of the area. Plenty of parking space.

The discharge letter basically said I was drunk and broke my leg falling off a bar stool - total fabrication. I spent 14 hours in a hospital corridor with rude treatment which I can only assume was because they thought is was a drunk Brit with a self inflicted injury. My concussion was totally ignored but I did end up with a full leg plaster cast and wheeled outside to make my own way back to my hotel in a taxi via a pharmacy to buy crutches and medication. I am now about to lodge a complaint with the hospital.

We returned weeks later as he was getting worse and he was AGAIN told it was Bronchitis, in the end we went to the Imed where he got the correct treatment. My Husband has Stage 4 Heart failure and an ICD fitted now thanks to their incompetence, if I could give no Stars I would.

We arrived from Pilar de la Horadada at 7.45 for an 8.00 appointment. We were pleasantly surprised how beautiful this hospital was and so clean. We were met by friendly staff at the front desk and led to where we had to go. On arriving there we were again met by a young nurse who showed us to a room where my wife was given a relaxing chair and told to close her eyes and relax for twenty minutes. After another nurse administered an injection and a further ten minute wait we were shown into this spotlessly clean room where this big machine was. The following process took roughly 25 minutes and after being asked to wait for a further 5 minutes we were told all was well and we could leave. All had been achieved in about one hour. My wife and I would like very much like to thank the staff for the way we were treated. I cannot imagine a better treatment being given to us anywhere else. A really beautiful hospital in every way.
