A very interesting getaway spot. You can Monsaraz up the hill from the hotel grounds. Junior suite room was very spacious, but because furnishings are so sparse and there aren't many soft furnishings to absorb noise, you can hear everything in enhanced sounds--neighbors in the hall, and lucky for us, some family with a screaming toddler. NOT a place to bring little children--it seems much more like a getaway from the daily grind type place, certainly for adults. They have one "buffet" meal on offer at night if you want to eat on site. It's not exciting, but edible. Breakfast is included and not bad either. Nothing terribly exciting.
