Well this place is weird…read more.... I'm a second-hand aficionado. I think it's a blast to scavenge among the riff-raff for true gems. Unfortunately, this is mostly riff-raff. (I cannot speak for the cafe as I did not try it; this is just for the shop.) The staff gave me weird looks when I came in, and eyed my transparent grocery bag either as though they wanted my wrap or they thought I might try to steal something by putting it under my salad... The shop is very strangely organized - or, better put, seemingly not organized at all. And the pricing is super confusing. Most items don't have tags on them. There is a price list, with small text, posted on a wall near the cash register, and the employees tell people to refer to that - after they ask for the price. The price scheme itself was quite strange. All normal-length dresses (not maxis) were 80 kronor. That would have been a decent price for some of them, but definitely not all. Many of the dresses were H&M or other worn-out budget items which would have been 50kr at another shop - but they all went under the 80 umbrella here. Maxis were something like 120kr. The shop is dark and feels a bit weird, and they don't seem selective at all - clothes, books, and furniture all looked pretty worn out. I've heard the cafe is decent, and I am all for helping charity, but I wouldn't go here for second-hand shopping.

Operated as a Champagne Bar and Café at Biblioteksgatan 6, nearby shopping and local businesses supplying an endless supply of foot traffic that has made the Restaurant as successful with tourists as it is with locals, guests arriving at one of the Restaurant's two entrances during morning hours will find themselves free to waltz right in and explore, table service eschewed in favor of a Bakery where items are laid out with prices a bit higher than other places less well appointed in terms of décor. Maintaining much of its old wood and granite, the kitchen clearly upgraded at some point since Wienercafeet was taken over by a local group managing at least a half-dozen additional Bars and Eateries, it was with several guests already enjoying Fika and Coffee that six items were selected from a line-up for approximately 240 SEK, first bites of the Cardamom Bun seeing caramelized outsides give way to a dense interior rich in Butter but low in Spices. Improving henceforth in terms of Food, the lone waiter in charge of Water refills spending most of time kibitzing with two middle-aged women seated outside, it was setting aside more than half of Roll one that attention turned instead to another topped in Nuts, the base similar but deeply penetrated by Sugar though in terms of taste the more traditional Tosca Tart proved better thanks to less Bread and more notable flavor from an array of Seeds and Nuts. Next investing in previously unheard of "Wienerbrod," a laminated ring of Pastry surrounding Vanilla Custard and lightly drizzled with Icing, it was here that Wienercaféet again showed well, the Budapest at first appearing dry but in reality delicate and light with smooth Cream supporting Orange segments while the Chokladbol was dark and rich but spared from being one dimensional by an equal ratio of Cocoa to Oats and Coconut.

The star of the show is definitely sugar, but they also carry gift items, coffee and tea as well! I've always walked past this store and wondered about the contents--always when it's way too late in the evening to come in and explore. It has a cute little retro sign and a vintage store front that I've always thought looked very charming. I guess a lot of the displays inside are original to this very old little store. The boulevard that it sits on is peaceful and is the perfect location to travel back in time a little too! I finally found a little time of my own to stop in and I had mixed feelings about the place. I really wanted to find a cute little old-time inspired gift store here, but what I found was a bit confusing. I think Karla-Frukt has all the ingredients for success, but somehow falls short on the delivery. I think this place could work if It became a more polished and packaged concept--taking inspiration from the fruit and gift store "Harry & David" in the US. They need to find a way to make this place attractive and functional for today without just being a historic landmark. The staff was wonderfully helpful and I was pleased with their assistance, but the environment was the main detractor for me. The display cases and tables were very undesigned without signage, branding or good organization. There was random gift items, chocolates, candies, fruit and teas of all different brands strewn about on the original old furniture that didn't match. I get that a lot of the displays are original, but maybe there is a way to clean it up a little nicer for 2015. I don't think that this place functions for today as well as it would have in the 1920's. It doesn't have enough of a "hook," design or unique product in the store to make it appealing over just heading to ICA down the street. You can order tea or coffee here, but there is no menu out to tell you that or what kinds they offer! They do make their coffee with Johan & Nyström beans though, which is a plus if you do figure out that they serve coffee here at all. The quality of some of the products are very nice. I liked that they had all kinds of good teas on display! I even took a hot tea and some cute cupcake shaped and polka-dotted french truffles home. Unfortunately, the lid on my cup of tea leaked terribly and by the time I made it two blocks away I had tea all down the front of my clothing. I also got home and wanted to share the chocolates I purchased with my significant other and found that they were all squished up (even though I had been very careful!) The woman had thrown them all carelessly in a paper bag...no box! So sad!!! They were so cute when I bought them! =( I think this place needs a designed eye to come in here and clean it up a bit. I could use some branding, signage and proper packaging for their products at the very least. I like the idea of fruit and candy together, I just think there is so much more you could do with a place like this!

Förutom egna teer säljer de utvalda märken av hög kvalitet, ex Kusmi. Och kaffe förstås. Lundablandning är deras signaturte, finns både avart, rött, grönt. Inte en favorit hos mig dock. Däremot är deras gröna Fredagsmys fantastiskt gott (och jag gillar inte ens grönt te vanligtvis)! Dricker mest rooibos numera och då är deeas Vinteräpple, Rött julte, Rabarbergrädde, Mango-Passion, Kaktus-Apelsin och Kvitten-Vanilj mina favoriter. Till finbladigt rooibos-te är de lösa tefiltren överlägset bäst, de fångar upp minsta blad, vilket inte en vanlig tedil gör tyvärr. Svarta teer jag rekommenderar är tex Mammas Mirakel, Mambo Jambo, Earl grey Rose, Kanelbulle och Semla. Även stort utbud av te-tillbehör, godis, kakor (tyvärr dåligt med det veganska), fina muggar och koppar, tekannor och kökstillbehör. Mycket Marimekko och Mumin (inklusive tepåsar både svart och rött). Finns toppenfina färdiga presentförpackningar för teälskaren, eller så plockar du ihop din personliga korg. Här finns även fina tvålar och ljuvliga doftljus från Voluspa (veganska! och innehåller inte paraffin. Obs! köp dock inte de större ljusen i plåtburk om de inte har minst 3 vekar, det blir alldeles för mycket ljusmassa kvar i burken när veken brunnit ner då...) I coronatider har jag beställt allt mitt te från deras webbshop istället, supersnabb leverans och det har varit så mysigt att hämta ut de väldoftande lådorna på mitt lilla Coop. Tehuset Java har nu även ingått ett fint samarbete med Solvatten (uppmärksammad svensk uppfinning som renar vatten), ekologiskt grönt Sencha-te där en viss summa av varje köp går till just vattenrening. För mig smakar det gröna teet bara gräs, men smaken är som baken delad och visst finns det folk som gillar Sencha. Som ju bryggs vid just rätt gradtal för renat vatten, fiffigt va'?! För varje 2,5 hg te (eller kaffe) i lösvikt du köper får du en stämpel i samlarkort. När det är fyllt får du det 10:e köpet gratis. Glöm inte att be om det även om du handlar i webbshopen, bara att spara och lösa in när du har vägarna förbi en av de fysiska butikerna!

They have special offers all the times, so absolutely not the case that you have to spend lots of money to get some good tea sorts. The shop also sell some kitchen utilities like cups and plates and random cute things for the kitchen. The shop assistants are super friendly and helpful. Recommend!

The shop lady was so kind and gave us samples to try so we could pick out things we liked. They have ALL kinds of chocolates including organic, vegan, and sugar free for diabetics. They are all about quality and service for their customers. 5+ stars for service, selection, and sweet chocolates! Wish we had a place like this in the states.

Café Blom is a cute little cafe that's part of the Museum for Architecture and Design, but as…read morethat's in the same building as Moderna Museet it's also very easy to go there from that museum. And: it's way better than the (quite uncosy, if you ask me) cafe that Moderna Museet has itself. They seem to serve amazing coffees and have fancy juices and lemonades, but as we really just needed a quick bite, we went for water (that you can just take for free). There were many good looking salads and sandwiches to choose from, but as I'm not always spending my weekends in Stockholm (or Sweden in general), I obviously had to go for some sort of bulle. Cinnamon, cardamom - they had it all, and they looked awesome. But they also had saffransbullar, which is something I hadn't tasted before, so we obviously (both) went for that one. It was very sweet, but extremely good and filling, too. Just because of the distance from the rest of the city, I wouldn't just walk to Skeppsholmen just to go to Café Blom, but if I'll ever visit one of the museums again, I'd definitely go here. They offer superior quality hot and pre-made dishes at decent prices, ordered counter style. Their soup of the day during my visit was tomato, served with a generous dollop of tangy yogurt and basil oil. You could tell that this stuff was made fresh, not poured from a can. They have a generous free bread basket that you can help yourself to, providing delicious, hearty, chewy bread to dunk in your soup, or dip in a little dish of olive oil (also gratis). They offer a tempting array of baked goods, but they also sell delicious Danish chocolate bars from Simply Chocolate at the register (I am partial to the "Grainy Sue", which is basically a granola bar covered in chocolate). Seating is plentiful, as they have several rooms set up with tables in different configurations, including an outdoor patio. This is a very kid-friendly environment, and there were lots of strollers lined up at midday. They also offer free Wifi if you're needing to get some internet time in.

I didn't end up buying anything second hand, but found and admired an English JAJ Pyrex dish. I did, however, purchased a cute kitty cutting/serving board, and a Stockholm dish towel, both were new and sourced locally. The lady that helped us was kind and super helpful. They take cash too if you decided to pull some out at the airport and haven't found a place to use it yet. Help them save some credit card fees. Cutest little shop!
