Attempting to book an international trip, this travel agent told me I'd have to deplane, exit security, and claim my bags in a foreign airport, then re-enter the airport, check my bag, and go through security again because "the airlines don't have ticketing agreements to buy a ticket all the way through." When I expressed doubt, she said she was sure of it; she told me they had advised a passenger earlier that week that he'd have to do it FOUR times to get to his destination! I sure hope that passenger did what I did, and called the airline directly This misinformation was nonsense. read more
