a cheeseburger with fries and a pickle

World class fries. Yummy chipotle sauce. Hearing the cheesesteak is FANTASTIC. Huge servings

We came here with a friend who suggested this was a great place in town to eat. I wanted to try something that they are locally known for so I threw my usual ordering strategy out the window. I started with the pretzel bread appetizer that was served with a side of mustard. The bread was soft, warm and the dip was really good! I have never tasted a dip like that. It was like a sweet spicy mustard. (It wasn't Dijon) My main entree was the Pierogies & Kielbasi ($10.25) . The Pierogies were stuffed with cheese and onions. I thought they tasted fine but I never had a Pierogie before so there is nothing I can compare them to. The Keilbasi was delicious! The pricing was reasonable for the portions you get and the service was attentive.

Good bar food, cheap, fine portions. Not always the freshest ingredients, but solid and consistent.

Their soups are perfect for warming up on a cold day, and today's feature is my review of Tammy's wimpy. I started with a cup of their homemade piggy soup--hot, flavorful, and packed with meat, cabbage, rice, and all the good stuff. The wimpy came with a generous side of fresh-cut fries, thick, perfectly cooked, and tasty whether plain or lightly salted. The main event, the wimpy sandwich, was served on a toasted roll and loaded with meat, celery, and a hint of onion. Every bite was full of flavor, and I'm glad I ordered it. Kudos to Tammy and her team for always delivering great food and service. Until our next video be blessed and stay safe. The extensive menu features a variety of brunch options, salads, and sandwiches. Their veggie options are a bit limited, but definitely present (ex: falafel salad, avocado toast), and many of the dishes feature unique combinations and homemade sauces/aiolis. I landed on the Smoked Salmon Avocado toast, which was fine. I was disappointed that it seemed to be made with prepackaged guacamole/avocado (I'm sure for cost reasons), and the bread was pretty thick so it was challenging to eat. Flavor-wise, it was solid, but I think I'll try one of the other, more creative options next time. My cousin chose their turkey sandwich and seemed to enjoy. It was large enough that she took half home! Our food arrived before our matcha lattes, so we wound up asking for to-go cups. The matcha itself was delicious, though sweeter than we anticipated (in retrospect, we should have realized that a "white chocolate lavender matcha macchiato" would be pretty sweet!).
