Really sweet spot in Longview! For lovers of really good beer and solid bbq, this is a sure bet. I think it's fair to say they have a beer for everyone's palette and a menu item to satisfy a wide range of hankerings. Tonight I had the slow cooked ribs, amazing Mac and cheese and slaw. The ribs were super meaty, well sauced, really moist and fell completely off the bone. Paired it with a nice IPA and I was in heaven. This was definitely a very interesting experience. We must have driven by this place many times and never knew it was a restaurant, let alone a BBQ place. The front of the Pub serves as a wine and beer making supply store. The back is the restaurant with TVs around the wall. We loved the BBQ. The brisket and pork were especially delicious and tender. I'm so excited to see that Longview has a place like this! We're always driving around aimlessly looking for a place that isn't a gross dive bar, Chinese food, or fast food. Hop-N-Grape is partial brew supply and restaurant with plenty of beer and wine on tap. Dick's Raspberry Tripel....holy mother it's delicious! They have beer in 10 and 16 oz glasses, which is great because I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to drinking an entire pint of beer. Now, for the food - we were pleasantly surprised! The peppercorn mac n cheese was absolutely delicious, so I recommend you get that for a side. My mother in-law didn't care much for the coleslaw, and I don't care for coleslaw so I didn't taste it. I got a pulled pork sandwich and it came with two containers of some sort of tangy BBQ sauce. I am honestly not sure what's going on with the sauce but I didn't care for it. I ended up putting some BBQ sauce that we had in the fridge on my sandwich. Otherwise, the service was fine, nothing out of this world. Food and drinks came quick and they have plenty of people on staff, it looks like. We paid around $50 for two beers and three meals. Slow, SLOW service and actually disappointed with the beer choices (I'm not a big Ale fan) and runny Mac n' Cheese. BBQ was decent though I ordered the combo with 3 meats, and I only wanted the Brisket and Chicken (which I got) and they charged me for 3 meats. Not sure why that happened? I thought at one time that they were the best BBQ in SW Washington, especially the sauces but I've changed my mind. I'll go back but it all depends on what they have on tap. read more

Not even sure where to begin. This was a terrible food experience. What they said was brisket, was not brisket. It was some sort of roast. Likely rump roast. Ordered hush puppies with the brisket. Great place to get together with friends and family! The food is great! I had the Ruben sandwich and fries. It was all great! The sauces are amazing! Everyone in our group loved their sandwiches. My sister gets the Cuban every time. She loves it and can't try anything else. Lol The house made tartar is killer! My only complaint is the lighting. Stopped here on a road trip to Tacoma for a concert. From the outside, we were skeptical, but that quickly changed once we got inside. The prices of both the drinks and food are awesome. The food was delicious. The Mac n cheese was creamy and not dried out at all. The brisket was also very tasty. Good selection of beers on tap, too. This place is really cool. All the hops and barley you need for a home brew, and great barbecue! I had my birthday lunch there and it was delicious! I had the pulled pork sandwich, and my dad had the sampler. We also tried a pineapple cider, which tasted like soda! The BBQ was perfect and their sauces are a great addition. I also LOVED the salmon chowder and the cole slaw. Being from San Diego, I appreciated that they stocked beer from home, like Stone, Green Flash, and Julian Hard Cider. If you're hungry, stop by! This place started out as a supply house for folks that like to make their own wine or beer at home. Dave also sells specialty beers and wine. Later he opened the back half of the building into a restaurant and bar. The menu is tasty! If you enjoy smoked meats, you've found the right place. They have Cobb salad, Greek salad and a few more salads. The restaurant is located 20 minutes off of I-5. Watch out! If you get lost, you might drive in circles! I had the slow cooked pork ribs, dry and kind of tough, appeared to be yesterday's lunch that was warmed up...SLO cooked means juicy and fall off the bone, Not this time, the hush puppies were a Northern style rather than Great Southern style hush puppies, the fries that came with my meal were mushy, a little disappointed in my meal. My wife had a No brainer salad which she said was good, her salad was $8 my ribs were $15.5. The wine was reasonable at $5 a glass and the Riesling was our choice. They have a nice selection of beer and the store attached is good for wine/beer and some snacks. I will give them a "B" overall and it's nice to try different local restaurants. I love Hop-N-Grape besides having the absolute BEST Mac and Cheese in the planet it's ever changing selection of beers always finds new ways to increase my palette. My personal favorite dish on the menu is the Cuban pulled pork plater and don't forget to treat yourself to their Marion berry cobbler. Great place to find a bottled beer that no one else carries, but avoid the eatery in back! Both times I've eaten here have resulted in awful tasting and expensive BBQ, ridiculously long wait for food to appear and recently my server (probably the manager) was wandering all around schmoozing with dining friends and eye-balling a sizeable group that had just walked in. Kind of a snotty attitude towards me as a lone patron waiting for a take-out meal, which, by the way was getting cold waiting in the kitchen window for someone to bag. IMHO, this may be the best dinner joint in town! I was just passing through the night before the eclipse and our hotel recommended it. Their selection of beers on draft was great, they also have a large wine selection, and our food was delicious. Try the collard green rolls they're not what you expect but in a really great way! They have a beer supply and specialty beer area attached to the brewpub, expensive, but where you gonna go?? Warning: last time I was there, they had some discounted schtuff on display, some of it was Joe Beer from 10 Barrel... I love it, and it was for a buck a bottle... It was strangely dirty though...but hey for half price.. I'm in... Well it wasn't a deal, the beer had turned, one bottle was only half full... it didn't even taste like Joe in the least....So buyer beware on the discount area... My favorite was the pepper jack Mac n cheese and I ordered it 2 times in the last 3 months. First time I was disappointed but decided to give it another try and my opinion hasn't changed.
