The entire dining room was full. Our waitress was very sweet and kind and very attentive my husband had several drink refills and he did not wait at all. The guys decided to get together for a birthday dinner at our friend's favorite place. But the funny part, we were celebrating his birthday but he lives in a Philly! Hahaha. It was busy but we hang out at the bar until we were seated. The guys ordered a ton of wings and I ordered Buffalo Shrimp and fries. They ordered regular hot wings and Daytona Style, which I've never tried. The food came out a little longer than expected but our server was nice to keep us updated. We didn't mind as we were catching up. When the food came, the guys started chowing down. My shrimp was breaded and has a semi crunch to it as it in drenched in sauce. This is one of many Hooters locations that we eat at around the Chicagoland area. I like this area because it is across the Woodfield Mall, and also they have plenty of parking. This one we really enjoyed the past couple of weeks ago. The staff and customer service was really good. We had out-of-town people that were visiting and we needed to find a place where we can enjoy each other's loud company and good bar food. I reached out to the location and told them we were having more than 20 people coming around 4p on a Sunday and they said they will try to accommodate us as much as as they can. When we arrived, we were introduced to our main waitress, and she was able to accommodate us of tables next to each other other in her area. The food was really good as usual The breaded chicken was hot and fresh we typically order Wings hot and I also wanted all flats and paid a little bit more of it. Some of my cousins, who was there also ordered wings well done meaning the breading had a more crispy texture to it. Another table also ordered wings, naked with medium sauce, and they liked it too. But I'm really here for the Hooters sauce that they put on their wings. I enjoy their curly fries and also their Tater tots that came out hot and fresh. We also ordered their Hooters salad, which was nothing extra extraordinary with a side of their ranch dressing, which I like their dressing. Their blue cheese dressing is also good creamy One of my favorites. Is their hot breaded fried shrimp with a fresh squeeze of lemon the best! The staff was attentive. What more could you want for awesome wings, beverage, and sports on tv under one roof. Staff is always nice and quick with getting food to us as soon as our order is ready. They offer high tables and low top tables and high chairs for the little ones. Yes, this is a family friendly place. Kids menus are under $7 for entree, side and drink + a Orange Hooters frisbee which their meals are served on. What a disappointment! So if you are a regular foodie and you enjoy capitalizing on rewards through restaurant apps this is not the place to go. After frequenting many Hooters over the past several years I was told today by a waitress they do not follow the franchise rewards program. Food came out cooked, breading was crunchy, and sauce was a plenty. Celery was fresh and not wilting. Ranches were not those sealed sorry tasting cups. The staff were nice and I didn't notice any snobby attitudes. They were happy, having fun, and taking care of customers. We had about 8 people with us and everyone was happy and never had a question of where anything was. It was enough for me to consider moving just for that...but visiting is good enough for me. Yesterday I went back to Hooters after a few years. During my last visit I wasn't satisfied with the amount of wings I ordered for the price offered. I'm happy to update my review after my latest experience. After reading previous reviews I was under the impression I needed to book a reservation to avoid an hour wait. Lo and behold I arrived 30 minutes before my reservation and was seated immediately--no questions asked. I noticed their menu was updated and my eye caught the Boneless Wings combo which included 10 wings (any sauce) with a side of fries or tots all for the price of 12.99. I must have arrived during happy hour because the total for the combo came out to be 9.99--score! My last review of 3 stars was completely overshadowed as I was very satisfied that wings were now being offered with sides, unlike before. But sometimes the service can be floppy but majority of the time it is good. Never had a batch of bad wings so I'm still coming back. I've always had good experiences at this location. I made a reservation online and sat at the bar. My waitress was Sarai and she was very attentive and friendly. As a female customer, I know that we sometimes wonder if the waitresses bother to provide us good service, but every time I've been here I always feel like the waitresses care about all customers. I really appreciate that. I ordered 8 hot wings and the truly lemonade seltzer and they were really good! I personally never had a problem with wings being cold at this location. Their hot wing sauce is perfect if you like traditional Buffalo sauce. If you want spicier wings you may want to order the 9-1-1 or habanero sauce. I watched some of the game while eating and also noticed that they have a game day schedule for the NFL. The times are in EST. Hooters is definitely a good place to watch your favorite NFL team.
