Wandering around Basel on a Monday when all of the museums are closed except for this one. The Hoosesagg Museum (Pants Pocket Museum) is accessible 24 by 7!
It is the smallest museum in Basel, nothin more than a 2 foot square window in the door of a 600 year old house. It is named the Pants Pocket Museum because everything on display can fit into a pocket. It's shown everything from toothbrushes to Pokémon to sunglasses since the first exhibit in 1995, a collection of schnapps glasses.
Today's exhibit was pigs. Lots and lots of pigs. Cute and free and less than ten minutes including climbing the stairs in this narrow alleyway to find it.
