Col Dale Burmeister has been an auctioneer for close to 20 years. He has two younger auctioneers…read morethat now work with him: Col Kent Miller and Col Steve Ehringer. I have been going to Burmeister auctions for years. They hold a clean auction. If you are wanting to hold and auction, Dale will get you the most for your money. He has 4 ring workers who have also been with me since he started. These guys know good from junk, when something is going to bring some money and when to toss things together. His team also gets to know their frequent attendees. They know what you like and what you are interested in collecting.

I was at an auction with this auction company recently. I drove over an hour for this auction and…read morewaited all day to specifically bid on stone slabs. Right before the stone slab bid, I over heard the auctioneer talk to another person at the auction, a lady with very short brown hair, that the auctioneer wanted the stone slabs coming up for bid and the lady said she wanted one too, there were seven or eight of them. After further discussion, it was obvious the auctioneer and the lady were making arrangements to share the bid. When the bidding started, I made a bid and the auctioneer addressed me and waved me off - obviously the auctioneer thought I was his friend, she was right behind me, and didn't want me/her to bid the items up. Following, the bid was awarded very quickly and I was not allowed to bid at all. Right after the bid, I voiced my concerns and asked the auctioneer if he saw me and he said no - I was literally three feet away from him and yelled out my bid -- and he acknowledge my bid, waving me off. This action was highly unethical. The auctioneer should allow everyone to bid and not 'rig' the auction, selling an item for his own use. Also, prearranged negotiations of an auctioneer should not be made before a bid. This auction service is being deceitful and underhanded to the family selling the estate - cheating them out of money. Again, this is unprofessional and fraudulent
