Clint is one of the breed who are committed to showing folks a different way of approaching health and self-care that looks to techniques thousands of years old, while being aware of how it applies to the stress and damage our modern way of life generates in us. Great understanding of his craft mixed with the desire to show folks less destructive or additive ways to deal with pain, obstacles to mobility, and other bodily challenges. And the atmosphere is so calm and relaxing you'll be unwinding before you are even seated in a comfortable recliner for your session. Well worth the visit! read more

Great community style acupuncture. Very accessible. It's now expanding into the Healing House at 1802 Market Street. Upstairs is an old Dutch church sacred vibes now repurposed into a yoga studio. read more

Wow Clint did an excellent job with my first acupuncture experience. Atmosphere is very chill and comfortable. I was a bit anxious and all that was alleviated by the time my session was over. He also does a pay scale which I think is excellent for the community. read more

Hooked on Acupuncture - Very Comfortable Air Chair and Smells Amazing in here! - Acupuncture Near Me - Galveston, Texas

Great place. Went in feeling terrible with pain. He got me back up on my feet. I'll be a loyal customer for years to come.

Hooked on Acupuncture is my first experience with acupuncture...and I'm about to go for my third visit. I've been suffering from Sciatica and Degenerative Disk Disorder for many years and, after being told I was pretty much a "lost cause" by my chiropractor (unless I wanted surgery), I gave up on trying to find any kind of relief and resigned myself to constant pain for about a year. Until I moved to Galveston and happened to run across Hooked on Acupuncture while doing some neighborhood exploring. I kept in in mind for a few months, asked friends of their opinions of the treatment, and finally decided to take the plunge...since I clearly had nothing to lose! Boy, am I glad I did...after just 2 treatments I noticed a distinct change in the intensity of my back pain, less stiffness in my jaw from my TMJ, a reduced level of anxiety, and an all-around improved sense of well-being! There may not be a "magical cure" for my ailments, but this is darn close! Clint is just awesome; he pays careful attention to your needs and is extremely thorough when determining the sort of treatment you require. He's very gentle and did a great job of putting me at ease during my first treatment! The environment is welcoming and, despite the community atmosphere, very relaxing! I've been recommending Hooked on Acupuncture to everyone know! read more

I've been getting acupuncture here for a couple of years now and I love it! Clint is very attentive and caring, making sure to address your needs in every way during your visit. I always make an appointment when I am stressed, anxious or having difficulty focusing and he gets me right back on track. It's a relaxing environment and everyone is very respectful and quiet even though we are all getting acupuncture at the same time. I've gotten cupping on occasion and it's a great aid for athletic recovery. I love the payment sliding scale because it makes acupuncture accessible to everyone! Give it a try- I'm sure you'll love it too. read more

I highly recommend Hooked on Acupuncture. The community clinic setting makes treatment affordable and accessible. I have had acupuncture in the past and can say that I think this clinic is top notch! The treatments have improved my overall energy, reduced the effects of chronic stress, and provided relief for my chronic low back pain. As an RN with many years in healthcare I can say Clint provides a healing environment and excellent acupuncture. read more

I went to a couple of Clint's acupuncture treatments while visiting Galveston and was impressed with the care given by Clint and the affordability of his treatments. I've been wanting to get acupuncture in California, but it's so costly here. I have noticed a better balanced body just after a couple treatments, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this gem. Next time I'm back in town, I'll have to stop in for a few more visits. Thank you for the wonderful care you provided Clint! read more

Clint is very knowledgable, friendly, and gentle. The community style environment is comfortable and relaxing but if you need more privacy he has closed rooms. He also offers a few quality herbs & supplements. I get my Krill oil there, it is more effective than all the other brands I've tried. One other added convenience is payment, he has Apple Square so you can pay by debit/credit and the receipt is emailed to you. read more
