I was really excited to get my carpet cleaned by this company after reading others' reviews. The…read morecarpet at my complex is old, highly-trafficked, and no other cleaner - of the usual wand sort - has been able to improve the appearance. I was especially concerned about one large stain in particular - from spilled Spite - that was right in the middle of the floor, as well as my small area rug, which had some traffic stains.
After talking with the young fellow who showed up for my estimate, I was willing to accept that there were certain spots that were just old and unfixable. It's an apartment, and I'm by no means the first tenant, so I get it. However, he gave me plenty of hope that the rest of it was going to come out great.
It did not.
Whether it was a pre-treating issue or something else, I'm not sure. All I know is that my carpet is no more improved than after the average wand carpet cleaning job, the soda stain is as giant and visible as ever, and the area rug is only marginally improved. That being said, there was also a NEW stain created where the edge of the rug was, which is especially disappointing. I specifically moved the rug there for easy cleaning, and that spot wasn't it's permanent home, so moving the rug back to its usual place means that the new stain is VERY visible.
Kudos to the gentleman who followed up with me and heard my concerns via phone; however, when you tell me that you will see what you can do to make the situation right, I expect a second follow-up. Instead, I'm simply out the money, and probably not going to get my security deposit back from my complex.
