This place is just organised chaos in Chinese seafood restaurant form. When we arrived we spoke to…read morethe hostess informing her that we'd booked a table online. Her response was that they don't bother checking online bookings. So we had to wait for a table to be free. This left us a little lost for words. However we were prioritised. We took our seats and ordered our banquet. It took a while for the food to come out. Not surprised to be honest. The place was jam packed and there must have been at least 30 big tables. We were seated in direct line to the entrance. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but as it was winter every time the door opened we were hit with an ice cold breeze. We kept our jackets on as they could not move us anywhere else. The restaurant space is most peculiar. Long rails run along the ceiling. I could only guess what they were used for. On the main wall was a huge screen that had Chinese tv projected onto it. When it came to someone's birthday celebration a Chinese cartoon about Christmas played with happy birthday being sung over the top on repeat for several minutes. I'm still haunted by this. When the food came it did not stop. It was plate after plate of amazing Chinese seafood. The only way it could have tasted any fresher would be if we caught it from the ocean ourselves. It was a night of madness but we still enjoyed ourselves. The food was amazing and the staff were eager to please. It always looks packed so I doubt it'll be closing anytime soon. I would most definitely be coming back again.

Definitely one of my favourite yum cha places to go to. Best seafood here yum…read more Awesome dumplings with fine dough not thick. Love the prawn rice rolls absolutely delicious. My niece and I ate here a Saturday night in mid-April. Such a good meal, I wish I had started out…read morehungrier, but I had been snacking in the afternoon and wasn't as hungry as I'd normally be for dinner. I had the mixed entrée platter for one, which had Salt & Pepper Calamari, Ravioli of Moreton Bay Bug and Prawn, Scallop, Tempura Prawn, and also a special, I think it was an appetizer, a risotto with clams, scallop and shrimp. The risotto was SO good. I loved it. A picture of the risotto is attached. I forgot to take a picture of the mixed entree platter. The mixed entree platter was a good introduction to the different appetizer options... My niece had the spaghettini pasta, with prawns, scallops, mussels, salmon, tomato, spring onion, garlic, olive oil. She was very happy with her meal. I tasted it too, and it was great. We were very sad that we had no room for dessert. A small but very cute setting. Very friendly wait staff. I'd go back in a heartbeat next time I'm in Sydney. One of the two best meals I had during a 10 night trip to Australia.

I love this restaurant so much that I came here twice during my 9-day visit to Sydney! While there…read moreare places with better views, you can beat the food and service here. I came in late afternoon on a Friday, was met by the host, and managed to score a table, even though I knew it was going to be busy. I was given water and a menu, ordered a cold beer, and looked over the menu. I came here for one thing- LOBSTER- and they had it! I ordered a medium lobster, as well as the Tasman Sea Octopus starter. My cold James Boags beer arrived, with a hot roll and butter. Followed by a plate of some of the best grilled octopus that I have ever had- tender, tasty, with a nice sauce. Then, the main event- a huge lobster, with all the delectable meat removed, cut up and placed back in the shell- so tender and so delicious, especially with the Shallot Butter! It came with chips and a salad, both perfect side dishes. I ate my lobster slowly, to enjoy every tasty morsel. I had a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc with it as well. Instead of dessert, I had a cheese plate. This place is great- I cannot recommend it enough. Both service and food are on point. I will come here every time I return to Sydney.
