The whole place was extremely clean and comfortable. We were thankful for the Cottonwood after a long day of driving! We also were glad we didn't have to go somewhere for dinner. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant. Garret was our server- he did a great job and made us laugh. Breakfast was equally delicious. The restaurant itself is spacious, bright and staff attentive. The only improvement would be to fix the jets on the hot tub near our room. Only 2 jets worked, but it was still a relaxing way to end our long day.

I took advantage of the laundry facilities as well as the communal area outside the laundry, enjoying a cup of tea while I waited for the dryer to finish. The hotel is a beautiful old girl and your renovations have given her some new glory days. The murals, comfortable communal areas and flower arrangements are simply lovely. Your staff did a great job on the room and everyone I met here has been so kind and accommodating. I stopped off here in Glasgow on a cross-country trek on Amtrak so that I could stretch out the stiffness from train travel and sleep soundly for a night. I was ready to sleep in my truck, but decided to check rates at the town's two motels. The first place was way too pricey, over $80 for a single. This place was $58, which I thought was outrageous for what I expected to be a roach motel. So I asked the friendly clerk to see the room and was promptly ashamed of myself for making such an assumption. The 'room' is actually a suite, with two bedrooms, a hall with a large closet, and a bathroom. There are a full size fridge, microwave, a proper desk, and a computer chair. The suite has been fully renovated except for the entrance door -- new carpet, newly painted, new beds (very comfy!), completely redone bathroom, etc. I've spent a lot of times in budget motels in the last eight months and this is by far the nicest room I've been. A family would find this place to be a bargain (although I imagine the rate is higher for more people). There is a restaurant almost right next door that is open late on Sunday nights where I got a decent steak. Great stop and glad to know I have this option if I ever come through again after the border has shut for the night.
