They are charging me over $150 for a cracked plug plate, a blind clip, and a lamp shade that has damaged on the underside of it. Not only did we not damage any of these items, but they are all in hard to see areas to have noticed they were damage to be able to report it to them when we checked in. As a vacation property owner myself this is a very dishonest way to make extra money. Please be advised and do not rent property managed by Fireside Chalet!

When confronted she acknowledged the charges were a "mistake," but gave crazy, improbable excuses as to why she couldn't execute the refund. Finally, a police report was filed and I knew she was a bad actor when she produced a false receipt for services not rendered. We did finally get a refund when she knew the jig was up. She initially seems very pleasant and kind and helpful to the elderly, but do not trust her. She stole and lied.

When they processed the docs, they transferred it as Straight Docs, instead of Combo Docs which basically attaches it to your existing membership. I paid the $299 transfer fee, but the way they filed the docs, the timeshare would not be combined with my current membership. I was forced to pay another $299 for them to file the paperwork correctly! Despite, the error being on their side, they forced me to pay the fee again. The fee goes to the timeshare company, not IA Vacations, but they should have covered it. The entire process took 13 months from ebay purchase to timeshare transfer! Mind you, I wired the full payment from the purchase within 3 days of the auction close! I have an extensive e-mail chain with them which explains this in much more detail if you are interested in viewing it.

VP Title has no idea how to do this kind of exchange. Jessica in particular should not be any part of any other timeshare exchange. It seems that the company, timeshareconnection, that listed the property on ebay then turns over the exchange part to VP. If you use either of these companies, be ready for delays, emails and phone calls not returned, and flimsy excuses, over and over. VP has a F rating with the Better Business Bureau, for good reason. Not sure how these companies relate to redweek4less or IA vacations, but from the reviews here, they are all operate about the same....beware.
