This location was easy to find and they called before the time of the appointment to ensure they…read morehad the car type and car seat model. It was easy to set an appointment by going to the website and entering your contact information. As a first time parent I was expecting that we would be going up here and they would check the car seat and we would be out the garage. Instead we received phenomenal service from Diana, who clearly loves informing parents and ensuring they're setup for success. Diana demonstrated how to place the baby accurately in the car seat, adjust the straps, tighten the base, safe sleep, how to travel with car seat, and so much more. It was not overwhelming I believe every parent that has a child from car seat to booster seat, should come here!

I called multiple fire stations and was eventually was routed to Safe Kids of Cobb County. I made an online appointment thru their website via Booksy which was convenient but booked out by about 1.5 weeks. You'll get a reminder email and SMS the day before. Soon to be parents, stop by this location and get your car seat checked. It was 100% worth the time and effort. Diana showed me how to install the base, use the carrier, and how to safely secure the car seat. She is a wealth of information and helpful guide. I feel so much more confident and at ease knowing that baby will be secure and safe on the way home from the hospital. Plan to spend about an hour on site. Eat something before you go, bring some water, and ask lots of questions. There is a legal requirement regarding proper use of car seats and important manufacturing info you need to know about that I wasn't aware of. It's in the safety manual but for new parents, there's already a lot going on so consider prioritizing before baby's arrival.
