Leading up to Christmas there is a good selction of Christmas decorations at the rear of the store, although they are often quite expensive. If you are doing any house improvements I would reccommend visiting Malletts as they do seem to have plenty of tools and materials upstairs. On the ground floor there is a china department. Malletts is not usually very busy so it is quite easy to get around. There are a lot staff around the store which each know about the specific area they work in.

If you can't find what you need on first look then feel free to ask them as they will probably have it hidden on one of the shelves, but if they don't then they'll be more than willing to order it in for you. This hardware store also offers an invaluable service of key cutting and can do it whilst you wait for a very reasonable price (better the other branches in Plymouth that I've found). The staff are very friendly and are always willing to help you with anything they can!!

The store mainly has building supplies at what seem to be quite reasonable prices. The staff seem to be fairly knowledgeable about the shop and were helpful in finding anything that I could not find. The shop never seems to get very busy so it is easier to find what you are looking for in camparision with other DIY and building suppliers in the area. Whickes are always worth a look if you are doing any building work.

I have nothing but good things to say for the service in the branch - got great help on selection…read morewhat I needed when I was there, but afterwards found that the person I went in with had lost a purse. We called around the places we had been, and the manager of the B&Q reviewed the security tapes, and told us that we had the purse when we left B&Q, allowing us to limit the places we could have lost it, and helping us track it down! To me that's above and beyond.

Garden centre the best I have ever seen, no dead plants as is normal at B&Q, full of colour and massive selection. Had a problem with some gravel that was sorted out by your man called Jake, a credit to you, please pass to the store manager wish all B&Q were like this store!!
