This place leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. I hope people read this from my experience &…read morenever have to go through what I'm dealing with with this place! To add to more of the confusion, this place operates inside of the Spencer Hospital under this name. My surgeon was Dr. Dirks & Leah (the lady "who only collects the bill") in the billing department doesn't know anything except on how to collect the bill. (Hope she doesn't get paid a lot to do just that!) In Nov. 2022 I had elbow surgery to fix a fracture, unfortunately, the fracture didn't get surgically repaired until after 2 weeks after happening. The surgeon blamed the failure for the fracture to heal based on the waiting to get it surgically repaired. Because it didn't heal, he now had to send me to a "specialist" to reopen the surgical wound to add more plates and screws in it. After speaking to the specialist, he said the success rate of fixing the fracture was a 98% success rate of healing. He also said the bones were more than likely not aligned close enough to get the bones to heal together & that he was now going to have to add more bone into the fracture. In the mean time, the billing department has threatened to send me to collection after waiting 6 months for the insurance company & the hospital & them to get all the claims covered from the surgery & under the correct authorization numbers and dates after they were submitted incorrectly the first time. AND on top of that, the surgery failed to heal a fracture! This was NOT a complicated surgery by any means according to a specialist. So now the billing department is expecting me to pay, having to have no job & having to recover another 2 months from another surgery they failed to fix. AVOID THIS PLACE! All they do is blame you and threaten you with a bill, & can't even fix a fracture, then refer you to someone else. I should have gone to a better place in the first place.
