Im very dissapointed in this charity shop they flatly refuse to give you a carrier bag for your…read morepurchase and wont even sell you a 2p, 5p etc plastic one like other shops and charity shops do. They just keep trying to sell you their 99p/£1 reusable one, with a 'its that or nothing' couldnt care attitude. You could go and spend £20 or more in there and you still have no bag for your purchases unless you buy the bag they want you to. So its no good unless you remeber to take your own bag with you. This puts me off shopping in this charity shop, ok ok a pound is a pound but its the holding you to ransom attitude of some of the staff i object too. So now i use other charity shops instead and spend my money in them instead of Salvation army. Some of the clothing and teddy bears for sale in the past has been quite dirty as well. Quite off putting and was stuff really should have been binned or recycled. Not nice to browse through the clothing just to be faced with manky items :( The shop isnt the easiest to get into if you are disabled and assistance with the door isnt very forthcoming.
