Very little to recommend this shopping place. Prices touted as bargain with lots of "Today you save" and usually $3 - $5 dollars even clearance items. Very often discount doesn't even cover the shipping which is definitely inflated and costs a fortune if you need to return something. Beware of electronics. I bought a Tracphone with assurances that both the company and HSN would stand behind it. Setting up the Tracphone phone took 2 weeks and their customer service was beyond dismail and the response from HSN was that once the purchase was made the company was my only contact for help. A rechargeable battery operated vacuum lasted 2 months. Finally don't expect to use any coupons or "My points." Both are blatant scams since coupons don't work on anything or never show up on your account. Mildly entertaining to watch in a pinch and exercise your will to save your money. read more

HSN sells lots of good items... and is ok operation but - they focus WAY TOO MUCH ON SELLING HARD ... and not enough time on the details that make people send stuff back ... and this can not be good for business ... HSN losing $$$ behaving this way - right ? - if they told the COMPLETE STORY - both good and bad points - they would sell a bit less - but wouldn't have to spend $$$ RETURNING ITEMS ... and this would be GOOD BUSINESS -right ... good for HSN - good for consumers win/win i.e. ... we just bought a good laptop computer this weekend... but didn't get email saying they mailed it out - so we called today........ and the bottomline is.. we will not get the unit for 2-3 weeks ! ... not cool.... cust serv said it was a PRE-SALE" ... who knew - I watched 3 or 4 of the tv pitches on the computer - and did not hear it once... we are older and maybe we missed it - but they should say something this important UP FRONT WHEN YOU ORDER - and say on screen during the preso - and send an email saying when it will come .... our comp died - so we need another FAST ... would have maybe used another co to get one sooner.... sooooooo not the worst thing to report - but not cool of the co not to inform its customers/ally's about this issue..... I ordered a visual land tablet from HSN. From day one I had nothing but problems with the tablet. I constantly called them and they'd cons transfer me to other members of HSN and they'd transfer me to the help dept. You'd leave your phone number and reason for calling and no one ever called me back and I have a 2 yr warranty. I'll never buy anything from again. They sell alot but there service is shitty. Yes I said it shitty. They lie to customers and they need to get qualified people that care about the customers. I'd advice anyone to never buy from HSN!!!!!! read more

I bought GoVision Sun Glasses. Had nothing but problems with them. HSN informed me that I only had 30 days to return. Times Up! So basically they sell crap they push as easy to use and when you find out they don't work as described your out the money. $100. Their Customer service are trained to say sorry your screwed. It's like telemarketing on TV. They say the stuff is great, ooooohhh so wonderful, but its crap and then your screwed and have to waste your time jumping through hoops to try and get a refund which is near impossible. The people on the tube are just making a pay check and don't care one bit if you get screwed. They are happy to screw every old person out of their money and they do it with a smile. I ordered an exercise machine from HSN. They said want to open a cc? They were supposed to take the $129 from automatic payments from my checking account. The payment did not go through, the stupid woman must have written a wrong number. I did not know, then they called me, I paid them off. Now my credit dropped 43 points because I now have a 30 days late payment because of HSN and their stupid $129. This was their mistake but they ruined my credit score!! read more

If you have an account with MyPoints don't plan on ever getting points from purchases that you have made with HSN. When I call HSN they don't even know what MyPoints are, not even the supervisors. They send me messages to pacify me that I will get 3 to 10 points per dollar credited within 60 days. Ya Right! I have been waiting a year. I have called and called hoping to get someone that knows what in the heck is going on and I get the same bull. This is getting ridiculous. How pathetic can a company be that no one knows about this plan. Because no one cares to know. These points don't cost them anything. I ordered a Pliatres gym. It arrived, I had no idea how big and heavy it was. I was unable to get it into the apartment. I called regarding returning it and was advised to print out the information on line, attach the bar code label and call the post office to pick it up. Well the post office brought it back saying they can not take it without my paying for freight. I would need to take it to the post office and pay for the shipping. I can not get the box into the house, let alone into the car and into the post office. So now customer service says that item does not come with a return label and I have to pay $60.00 to return it and someone will call for pick up with in 21 days. Does this make any sense??? This is not customer service. I was told by the phone rep this was the best she could do. So, go ahead and charge me $60.00 in freight for an item I can not use because it is too big and heavy to get into my apartment. I will be paying off my account and closing it. I will continue to post negative review every place I can find to post it. I do business with QVC and Amazon.com and have never been treated so badly. This is so awful. I feel totally ripped off and devalued as a customer. read more
