A man (I later learnt was Pastor Steve) is walking around greeting folks as they come in so of course I stretch my hand out to him. We shook, I said "Greetings brother, welcome welcome" as if I'm either A. Nigerian or B. A Pastor/usher/member here. Speaking of nationalities, so many flags on the walls of this Church. I like that, all are welcome. Except my own. Where's my country's flag? Ima need my Trinis to represent. A guy who seemed to be a Junior Minister gave a short firery word and then it was time for Pastor Steve! Listen, I know this is a Church page and all but the other reviewers told a lie! Everything they said about Pastor Steve is actually 1000000 times more! Pastor Steve on his own is extremely charismatic and energetic! His sermon was riveting and I couldn't get enough! It wasn't boring, I didn't look at the time or found an interesting new app to download while pretending to read my Bible app. Oh no! My attention was fixated on that stage!!! Today's topic was about getting out of our comfort zones and my gorsh Vinny at the end with a dramatic piece where he broke through a straightjacket made me feel as if I should be paying for all this. Not just offering but PAYING! Hallelujah! Before I forget, I throughly enjoyed the praise and worship team as well! My experience here was nothing but fantastic! Home away from home and I'll be back. Oh and first timers get a lil gift bag of goodies too. One more "oh"...... I so wasn't dressed as though I was going to visit the Queen (in my jeans and hoodie) but folks treated me as if I was.
