I came to see a co-worker's chorale group perform in a concert at this beautiful church. it's a small church, but with very nice stained glass windows around the navel, behind the altar, on the balcony. The Priest at the end of the concert came and said that " we must have you back" and welcomed all who came. I hope to visit this church again. read more

I am writing this review as a guest to this church. I recently attended a funeral for a friend's mother at Holy Trinity. Let me start off by saying that I belong to a WONDERFUL church down in Texas, one that was so welcoming and friendly, that from the first moment we stepped foot in there, we KNEW it was where we belonged. I have NEVER experienced anything like that before. Unfortunately, I did not feel that warm, welcoming feeling at Holy Trinity. In fact, one experience in particular really rubbed me the wrong way. This occurred during Holy Communion. I noticed that during Communion, about 98% of people were passing up the wine. I have NEVER witnessed such a huge number of people avoiding the 2nd part of Communion. I have never passed up the wine in the 25 years of taking Communion so it was shocking to see it. I know it is in the midst of Flu season so I figured people were "scared" of germs, understandably. So when it was my turn, I took the wafer and walked to the lady holding the wine. I politely asked her if I could dip my "bread." I was taken back when she BARKS and in such a LOUD, HARSH and INCREDIBLY RUDE TONE, "THAT IS NOT ALLOWED HERE." Utterly embarrassed and holding back tears, I ate my wafer (passed up the wine) and walked back to my seat. I am SORRY, but there are MUCH nicer ways to say that than how I was told. Even a "I'm sorry dear, we don't allow that." Would have been 1000x nicer than how I was told. I have visited MANY churches over the years which allow for dipping the bread into the wine. I wasn't aware it wasn't allowed. Maybe more patrons would take the wine if more options were given, such as individual cups or dipping. It saddens me that I had to feel this way in the House of the Lord. read more

just wanted to let everyone know to be careful if they do business at dominoes here in town.they had messed up my order last month. talked with manager, she said i could get a $10.00 credit on next order but it wont show online. when we went to order again ,told my son to order at store to make it easier on them. he calls saying they cant order for us. asked manager, she said " if we take order here its $42.00 for 2 mediums." ?!?! after brief discussion asked for refund. her response was " no, once we get your money we keep it." ?!?!?!?! i contacted their customer service, well im still waiting on an answer. beware!! al cafferelli read more
