Ramadan mubarak! Walk into @holylandmn and you immediately feel part of their family. From their logo honoring their beloved grandma Fatima to the high-quality healthy menu prepared in-house daily, it's a Minneapolis staple since 1987 for a reason. Plus, you can feel good shopping here as they support multiple local charities and are heavily involved in our community. Open 365 days a year, there's plenty of opportunity to stop by next time you're craving Mediterranean food!

Perhaps it is because I requested a window seat when I made the reservation. It was very pleasant. This visit was on February 21, 2026, less than a month since Alex Pertti was shot and killed by ICE, only half a block from the restaurant. I was glad to see the restaurant was filled, even very early on a Saturday night. The waitress was friendly and very competent. The humas was as usual, wonderful: creamy and tasty. My wife ordered the appetizer version of the Spanakopita, which was enough for her to consider it a entree, along with a soup. I had the dinner special of broiled Atlantic Salmon with white wine and butter sauce. It was served with asparagus and rice pilaf. This is something that I had never tried at Christos and it was excellent. It also came with a house salad, which was also very good. The total, with one glass of wine, was $70.88 plus tip. One question: Why do the nightly specials never change?

Service is always so kind whenever we have visited. Definitely should stop here sometime! Go to favorite: Philly Gyro omelette (this thing is perfection) Greek coffee (very strong and sweet so try it before you add anything!) tasty treat for a caffeine boost Cinnamon Roll Pancakes (wow. Soft but kind of caramelized for some satisfying crunchy bits, sweet but not too much, perfect thing to get to split at the table) not pictured but have to mention, the Gyros ... obviously awesome. also not pictured but yummy, Breakfast Quesadilla Worth making the drive to visit. Food is phenomenal and you can taste the quality, We were seated immediately upon entering. Menu is simple with plenty of variety to choose from. Specials are written on the wall. Ambiance is calm and there is no music playing but there is a big screen tv that was showing a NBA basketball game. Noise is not very loud at all and very pleasant. Overall, a perfect choice if you are looking for a breakfast, lunch or Greek food! Go check them out. I approve!!!

I go there for the delicious Middle Eastern food, which, for a buffet, is amazingly fresh and tasty. It helps, of course, that the buffet is replenished frequently. It includes a wide variety of salads, hummus, pita, soup, protein, and desserts--and it's all delicious! If you have not been to the family-owned Mediterranean Cruise, the building itself is surprisingly large and impressive. It features a 25-foot or higher ceiling, a private dining area, and even space for belly dancing presentations. While Mediterranean Cruise offers Mezas, soups, salads, rice and hummus bowls, sandwiches, and more off the menu, you must try the buffet to truly appreciate the breadth of their offerings. Highly recommended.

I have pretty high standards for Greek/Mediterranean food, and it just doesn't stand out anymore. The pita has been dry, although the hummus is still solid. The platters are fine overall, but nothing particularly memorable. Service has also been a bit underwhelming recently compared to past visits. That said, the atmosphere is still a highlight. The space feels very authentic with all the decor, and the belly dancers are always a fun touch. The patio is also nice if you're able to sit outside. Parking can be a little tight in their lot, but there's a ramp nearby which makes it easier.

I was introduced to Tarama here and they have set the standard ever since. Of course, I ordered a 16 oz container to go. We arrived around 1 on a Saturday and was pretty quiet but picked up right before we left around 3. Smaller, unpretentious with two dining areas and a Bar in the second half of their dining area. Orders are placed online for dining (with servers available for help, questions) We started with a spinach feta and a mushroom Bougatsa (have yet to find another Greek restaurant that offers Bougatsas). Also ordered a combo trio of Dips-Tarama, Tyro, and Melitzana-all delicious! For lunch, we kept it light and ordered the Scallops Saganaki (large) to share. So sublime that we wanted to order a few more! Service was exceptional from beginning to end. Unfortunately, we found out there are plans to close the restaurant-no date given -so much exceptional food enjoyed here and many wonderful memories! As Bourdain said, "this is one of those spots I would visit daily/weekly until the money ran out."Hopefully, somehow, they stay open!
