My daughter, in Colorado found a beautiful, handcrafted leather three ring binder that she wanted for her viola and cello music. I was pleased to find that she included Holtz Leather as the source and that they are located in my home town. I visited on a weekday and the staff was polite, friendly and well versed about their products. I purchased the binder, which was carefully placed in a cotton drawstring bag and gift wrapped after being embossed with my daughter's initials. The price was more reasonable than I had expected. I have been neglect in reviewing Holtz. I have been a customer for several years and never thought of doing so. But yesterday I was back again buying Christmas gifts for relatives and that's when I realized I needed to let you know what an amazing place this is. Yes Holtz is a leather merchant but they sell much more than that. They have an array of different items, for instance. My wife bought a throw blanket for her daughter and a hanging guitar rack for her son. If you're looking for something different for yourself or as a gift. Call out to the lovely and friendly staff. If it is your first trip to Huntsville they give you a free key chain. What an enjoyable place to spend a few hours. This place is an adorable locally owned, locally sourced leather goods shop. They have pottery and candles as well. There is an upstairs and a downstairs. Make sure you look at both. There are a lot of awesome things here. Upstairs you will find a wall up candle making bar. No reservations needed. You just sit at one of the spots that are set up. You pick out your vessel and they explain how to mix your scents and walk you through the candle making process. It takes a few hours for the candle to set and then you can come back and pick it up. They box them up all nicely for you too. It was about $30 per candle and you get 50% off refills if you bring the vessel back once you burn the candle down. I also found a really cool leather strap for my camera. They can monogram anything you buy there as well. read more

First- this is an excellent quality belt ! superb craftmanship and fast customer service. it is well worth the money. I would have gave 5 starts but the buckle is not interchangeable. I cannot return the personalized belt and he will not wear it without his buckles. he is going to attempt the switch out the rivets to screws or snaps and hoping he doesn't damage the belt And I'm not going to be out $135 bucks. read more
