Unfortunately, my experience with the receptionist left me absolutely sick over the carelessness and disrespect of my time, money, and resources: I was very transparent when I first contacted Ever After Dental regarding the poor experiences that I received at a previous dentists office and I provided all of my insurance information well in advance before physically visiting the office. The receptionist verified that their services were covered under my insurance, and we even had an email correspondence where I verified that I did not need to complete the out of network authorization paperwork because it did not apply to me. I scheduled the suggested follow up services, then received a predetermination that stated the doctor was out of network. I contacted the insurance and subsequently Ever After Dental: ultimately the receptionist was able to contact the insurance and verify what the insurance said is true in less than 20 minutes with no additional information from me, but could not do that prior to my visit. When questioned as to why this wasn't done prior to my visit despite my providing all of the information required and having the email correspondence regarding this explicitly, she could not take responsibility for her actions. She kept asking what I wanted out of this conversation and I had to explain to her that I needed to know her negligence was the reason I wasted an entire days worth of sick time for this visit that wasn't going to go anywhere. She could not. Don't waste your time. Find another dentist who's receptionist is responsible enough to do their job 100%

For the past 10 years, he experienced neuropathy on all limbs, dizziness, headaches, etc. We saw all types of doctors to figure out what was going on - cardiologist, neurologist, and pulmonologist. He got numerous X-rays and MRIs. He even had fusion surgery done on his neck because we thought the cause was due to a budging disc - that didn't do anything. We were also patients of Blue House at the time. Due to a change of insurance, we switched to Renov Dental Group. On the very first visit, Dr. Yi pointed out something unusual on the Xray. She referred my husband to Dr. Gray who further identified issues with my husband's narrow airway (result of lower jaw surgery in his earlier years). My husband ended up having jaw surgery again. It's been 6 weeks and a lot of the symptoms he suffered in the last 10 years appear to have subside. Out of all the specialists we saw, Dr. Yi was the one who identified the root that no one else was able to. We are so thankful and grateful to her. She is truly talented in her craft, diligent, and has genuine compassion.

Every person we talked to was very welcoming including the doctor. My toddler is very curious and they were friendly towards him as well as my 1.5 year old who was giving a little push back towards her cleaning. The doctor was even humming a little Lullaby while doing her cleaning that calmed her down immediately and she let him do everything he needed to. Sometimes doctors offices have this passive / passive aggressive tone to them and this is absolutely not the case here. She even called me personally a few days later to check on him. Today my daughter had some teeth extracted, my daughter was extremely nervous and emotional, again Dr. Chow was so loving, patient and gentle. They are getting better, it was worse before and so I know staff changes. Don't get discouraged with the receptionist you see at the beginning of your experience. The REST of the staff is awesome. I made an appointment here for me and my kids here and after 3 hours, they told me they had to break for lunch and that I would have to come back for my cleaning. My kids who did get their teeth cleaned told me that it was rushed and that they did not do a good job. The doctor did have time to tell me that I needed an excessive amount of treatment that would have cost me over $1700 out of pocket. He recommended a gum treatment because I had some "minor cavities." When I went back to my old dentist, guess what? NO CAVITIES! They lied to me to get me to pay for a treatment I didn't need! If that's not bad enough, they did the same thing to my 8 year old son. Can you imagine telling a child that they need unnecessary, painful dental surgery on their baby teeth just so you can make a few extra bucks?? Again, when I took my son back to my old dentist, he told him to floss more and said we'd keep an eye on the cavities and only take action if they threatened his permanent teeth. This place is not at all interested in providing quality care. They do not care about cleaning your teeth. All they care about is racking up your bill so they can line their own pockets. I changed my insurance coverage so I would never have to go back. If you think you're saving money by being on the Delta HMO plan, think again! This place is a scam and everyone here should lose their medical licenses for breaching the hippocratic oath.
