This review is for Maximum Performance's New Milford office…read more I've been to PT practices in the past, and while they've all been ok, my experience at Maximum Performance has been unparalleled. From the start, everything was so easy, the staff was so kind, and the therapists not only experts in what they do, but also empathetic. When I first called to book an appointment, their office manager took my insurance information, called them herself to verify my coverage, and then called me back to give me the rundown. I had my initial consult and evaluation with James, who walked me through his recommended treatment plan to address an old shoulder injury and diastasis recti. He's incredibly patient and knowledgeable and provided me with tips and tools outside of therapy, so I could continue down my fitness journey, without causing reinjury to my shoulder or exasperating my diastasis recti. Because of schedules, I alternated therapists and saw Paige, as well, who was equally as attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend James and Paige for your physical therapy needs.

I had very low expectations, and something of a chip on my shoulder, believing being forced to endure physical therapy would likely cause more pain. However (and I realize even Ivy's dedicated and talented therapists can't fix what needs to be surgically repaired), Ivy has managed to reduce my pain to the point where I can now actually benefit from the medication I was prescribed to reduce my nerve pain! Prior to physical therapy, I needed pain medication to sleep, as the muscles in my legs and feet would twitch and cramp all through the night, as nerve pain radiated down from my lower back. Ivy's treatment has profoundly reduced my reliance on pain medication, even the OTC kind. I very much want to reach a point where I am medication free! I plan to continue attending PT sessions at Ivy right up to surgery, and resume as soon as possible post surgery. My exposure to the knowledgeable and upbeat therapists at Ivy has convinced me that proper therapy IS a vital part of pain management, and the path to being medication free.

Was told to come in to sign some papers just for the papers not be available to sign and was told…read moreto make an appointment to see the family member. The appointment day came and they weren't ready for the resident to be seen so what exactly is the point of making an appt? I brought clothes to the facility but they don't dress the family member. Family member has bruises. I called and emailed them twice from their website portal and the email shown on their website to ask about the bruises but received no response. They also left the dialysis bandage on for several days. I literally just called to ask to speak to a nurse to notify them that the dialysis bandage shouldn't be on for longer than 6 hours and the operator patched me over to a former patient who complained to me about their lost of clothes, leaving the facility with nothing on their back, their lost of expensive bras and ended the call with calling ME a C*NT. I think she was confused and thought I was a representative for the facility. She was just so heated that I didn't interrupt her so after her complaining and cursing me out she hung up so I couldn't clarify the situation. Maybe the patch over displayed the facility on the caller ID so she just exploded on me but we're in the same predicament. How this place patched me over to a former patient instead of a nurse who knows but yeah this place is very dubious and don't trust the staff reviews. Had to called multiple times to try to reach anybody. I was on hold for more than 40 minutes on my cell phone at which time I decided to call again from the house phone without hanging up my cell phone to ask to speak to a nurse. Its convoluted the hoops. I'm fearful.

All they do is collect money every month. They don't know much about Rehabilitation, exercise, proper diet. They give too much Sugar to their patience and won't allow you to provide real minerals and nutrients for your relatives. They are extremely shady and not to be trusted.
