I'm writing this final review of 2024. As a millennium, I didn't even know that Television was in Black & White. But I do remember, when I've watched my favorite shows such as The X files, The Lone Ranger, Charlie Angels or sometimes with my family, I've to watch the boring soaps like Dynasty. The television culture is more than just a show. It's a family gathering, learning identities, and also primarial source for information back in my childhood. IMHO, this could better than bombarded by social media (s). What is unfolding would make you very happy in Saban Media Center. According to Emmy's official website, this theater has been celebrating 70 year of Television. As a member of Sag-Aftra & Television Academy, I'd be honored to attend events here. The Wolf Theater at Saban Media can host 600 seats for the screening event. The breeze around the garden and the vibe is so serendipitous in the TV academy. The Wolf Theater is named after Dick and Noelle Wolf. This is one of my favorite places in North Hollywood and the invitation only for the industry people. Though, mostly you could bring your significant other from time to time depending on the event. There's plenty of up-scale restaurants around Noho if you've done and grab a bite later on. But Dive Bars? Here it's tips; The Brickyard, Risky Business (my fav) and even El Tejano, the spicy mexican night bar or if you're looking for action, The Bullet Bar is quite well-known for LGBTQA+. You don't need to go down Studio City or Toluca Lake. Literally 5 minute walk from TV Academy. The NoHo becomes hit for youngsters and glad that TV Academy made the right choice to called home here in North Hollywood. This Saban Media Center is exquisite and this is your time to shine how sophisticated you can be with your plus one. I'll close out with true appreciation for Saban Media Center at Television Academy and many more to come. See you 2025 ! ! !

I went here recently for a screening, and the theater they have is beautiful. It's large, the seats are very comfortable. Very, very nice. They have screenings, talkbacks, and plenty of other fun industry things that go on here. The exterior of the complex is also quite nice. It almost makes you forget that you're in the heart of North Hollywood. There is also a parking garage, which offers a discounted rate if you are attending a screening (it is also open to the public). I had a lovely time visiting here and hope I can be back soon.

They beat their quoted turnaround time and we were very satisfied with the print quality and super fast turnaround. It's no wonder this shop has survived while many of the ones that used to exist in the area, are long gone. Would definitely come here again for any print needs and you should as well.

I just need 2 copies made from an original photo. Thats all. Color Images replies saying it was $5 and can be done while I wait. I replied to confirm and they said it was easy and to come on down. So I send my husband in the following day to drop off the picture. After dropping it off he calls me back and tells me how rude the guy at the counter was to him and just how complicated he made a simple task seem. He said the guy acted like it was just a huge inconvenience, asking several questions for what should be simple and self explanatory and complaining that they normally do larger jobs , blah blah blah. At the end of the day I hadn't heard back from them as promised to let me know it was ready. I was already on a time crunch, because I intended this picture as a gift to someone who was visiting so I stopped by to see if it was finished (4pm, drop off was 9am) and the guy said "Oh, I forgot, let me warm up the machine". About 10 min later I have the copies. Now remember, I specifically asked for a color print of a glossy photo and they specifically responded that they can provide this. What I got was AWFUL. It was a morphed, discolored, paper copy. Common sense dictates that if someone asks for a copy of a glossy photo then theyd get a glossy photo in return. Its was so terrible. I think he even tried to balance the color, which made it worse...... The original photo was taken is soft lighting but it came out like it was red..... I dont even know how to explain it other than it was absolute garbage. Like I said, maybe they do good work on large print jobs but this place had no business reaching out to me when I was specific about what I was looking for AND the guy who is at the service desk is rude and unprofessional. I dont care about the measly $5. I care that my time was wasted and that both my husband and I were treated poorly. Oh, and I had to ask for my card back because he didnt return it at the end of the task and yes, he forgot because he sent me on my way before giving it back. I drove straight to CVS and printed out a perfect glossy duplicate for under $1.00, self service, took 3 minutes, the picture wasnt damaged or bent like I had feared which is why I did not go in the first place and no drama.

Some really great topics with all the trimmings of jingles, bumpers and no in-stream ads, that I detected. It is apparently host supported and I see some complaints in that area, but the station does have costs to cover. A great challenge taken on by its owner, Sam. To compete against the huge giants that control LA Radioi. Good job, keep it up!

After my 3 year anniversary, as a host on LA TALK RADIO (Melissa Hill: RAWTALK) Sam (the owner) ,…read morestarted treating me like shit! I was loyal to his station, and brought great guests, including Grammy award winning artists, and Academy Award winning directors. The only thing that Sam cares about, is the $99 / WEEK he charges (even if you run a repeat, it still costs $99) If you pay with a $100 bill, good luck getting your $1 in change owed to you. If you show up with only $95, he'll hassle and threaten you, until you show up with the other $4. My show broadcasted live on Tuesday's, and Christmas 2018 & NY Day 2019, both landed on Tuesday's. Any radio station that I know, does not broadcast live on major holidays, they broadcast Pre recorded content or replays. Well, I didn't show up on those two holidays, believing that I didn't need to, and I didn't receive a call or text on those days, asking if I was showing up.... so I believed that all was okay. When I arrived on January 8, 2019 to do my broadcast, Sam walked into the studio, and demanded that he be paid for three weeks of broadcasting. We decided to table the discussion until we could set up a time and meeting with my show sponsor. A few days later, I went online to download my previous week's broadcast, and was shocked to discover that the website was down, as I was looking at a blank white page! I posted an update for my listeners on facebook, informing them that the site was down, and that I would have more information for them in the morning. The following morning, on January 15, I received text messages from Sam, stating that he would sue me for slander and that I was a liability to the station. I told him that his site was down and that he wasn't providing the service that we pay him for! I told him to stop harassing me, and that I'd see him later that night when I show up for my weekly broadcast. I also told him that I was going to bring a hard drive with me to download my entire archive. He told me that he would deny access of my archive to my listeners, unless I pay him for the 2 missed holidays! He also set up a meeting for us, that evening. Well, my sponsor and I showed up for the meeting, and Sam did not! My broadcast that night (which ended up being my final) was with Director Cameron Crowe, and Rock photographer, Neal Preston! It was an amazing show! Afterwards, we saw Sam in the parking garage. He looked at us, ran to his car, and backed out of the garage, nearly hitting us in the process!!!! Moral of this story is, that Sam (who is originally from Israel), will harass and treat women like shit, insult, demean, and lie! If you are black, he'll treat you even worse! To wrap it up.... Hosting on LA TALK RADIO is a good learning experience until you are able to move on to a much better station, where your rights of Free Speech are supported by the owner! Screw you, Sam!
