    After

Samantha is freakin AMAZING. When I moved to Sioux Falls from Los Angeles it was hard for me to find someone I trusted to do my hair. After a few failed attempts at finding a new hair dresser I was weary coming to Samantha but I'm so glad I did. She is friendly, upbeat, and did my hair exactly the way I wanted it. I'm not easily impressed but I was extremely impressed when I left. If you are looking for a trustworthy person to do your hair, Samantha is your girl!

Savannah does an amazing job! She is fun, flexible on rescheduling me if needed, is passionate about her work and always is learning!

Stellar work done at this salon! Right when I walked into…read morethe door, I was greeted and directed to wash my hands in an effort to keep everyone safe. I don't have the most flattering finger shape, so the type of nail I needed was specific. My nail technician was able to accomplish the shape I desired without correction. I haven't been able to achieve that in any other salon in Sioux Falls. During my session I explained that my job is physically demanding and hard on my hands. The technician gave me an extra dipped coat purely out of consideration. I'm thankful that the employees at this salon think about outside factors and not just making a buck. I would 100% recommend this business to a friend or stranger. Thank you for not only satisfactory service... but for being good people in general!

When I got a pedicure, the older woman gave a great massage. She was very kind and social. The pedicure was good, no complaints there! I spent a bit more for the pricey option with paraffin and it was pretty good. They have some heated socks during the treatment too! That's different! I wasn't impressed with the dip nails that I received on 2 different occasions. They didn't hold up after one week and had chipped significantly. Don't feel like pricing was ever transparent, despite having the pricing paper at the register, but that not adding up to what I was charged. I'm used to seeing it written out and broken down for transparency and also for ex: if I ask for a design or a service that's a bit extra, they let me know how much extra before even doing it

Then I booked an appointment here because my friend was busy and I wanted to have nice lashes before I went to New York for a few days. I wish I never would have. When I came in, I asked for natural whispy lashes. I said I wanted it to almost look like they could be my real lashes. That is NOT what I got. I said I didn't want much volume, if any at all. And I got thick, full, dramatic lashes. They were very pretty don't get me wrong, but not what I wanted. I even got charged extra for volume, and I got charged extra for having a "pro" lash tech do my lashes. I ended up going back in and having a lot of the extensions removed. Even then they were still a bit too dramatic for my liking. They felt heavy on my eye, but I was gonna wear them anyways because I just spent a lot of money to get them done. Might as well enjoy them, right? Well, as more and more kept falling out, and my lashes started to look wonky, they started to stick together. I would have to tug at them a bit in order to get my upper lid to detach from my lower lashes. I decided to just take the rest of them out. That way I could start fresh with a new set and get what I wanted. I steamed my eyes with hot water and I even used castor oil and baby oil on a cotton round to soak them before taking them out. They fell out pretty easily after that. But some of them were stuck on there, and I was afraid of ripping out my lashes. So I went back to the studio to have the rest of them removed. I had been washing my lashes every day. I didn't put makeup on them, or anything. I know I didn't do anything to fuck up my lashes because I was so scared of ruining them that I took every precaution necessary. And now, MY NATURAL LASHES ARE RUINED. I assumed maybe my lashes were just sensitive and didn't react well to the extensions, until another lash tech looked at my eyes after I left after the removal. I have NO idea what any of this means, because I'm not a lash tech, but I was told that the girl who did my lashes had more that one lash on an extension, and that she placed them on incorrectly. Said she didn't isolate them, whatever the hell that means. I was told the stickiness could've been from using too much glue. Or for how thick the lashes were they could've been too intense for my lashes. I had long, decently thick eyelashes. They were lighter in color so hard to see, but I still had beautiful natural lashes. And now, they are thinned out, broken, and really stubby. The only way I can tell I even have some lashes is to coat a shit ton of mascara on. My self confidence shot down the drain and when I saw how damaged my lashes were I literally cried. What really throws me off is that they didn't even admit it was anything they did when I went to go get them removed. They said my lashes could've been sensitive and I had an allergic reaction, but I've never had this happen!!!! And when I get told by many that this SHOULD NOT have happened at all, it makes me feel as though they were just trying to save their reputation :/ I have a concert to go to in 7 days and now I need to hope that false strip lashes will work for the day so I don't look terrible going there. Safe to say I will never be spending my money at this establishment in the future. What a terrible first impression they made. Btw here's some pictures of my lashes before and after.
