I deeply regret I was not able to sit on top of management and medical staff to ensure my sweet mom was treated with respect and consideration. Custodial care was inconsistent and several times was left in nasty briefs for more than half hour after reported. Meaning it was even longer from the event. Bruises on legs went uncared for until family complained. Why? Their doctor and medical staff overlooked her decline and did not attend to the problems we were seeing and trying to get addressed. Blood tests (requested/ demanded by family) the last week of her life showed her at a higher level then others her age, but yet she was declining. Why? She was alive and then she was dead. Don't waste your money on that medical team. Don't let your loved one die alone in this facility. How heartless. A true lack of responsibility to the individual and the trust of the family.

She was brought plates and drinks but nobody ever checked to see if she was actually eating. She had multiple falls, which left her face with bruises all over her body and when I asked about it, I got so many different stories. I'm not sure if they just don't care, or they are not trained to be in this type of field. My sweet grandma was severely dehydrated , and literally starving to death and nobody even noticed. You can walk in and out of literally any room and nobody would notice or question a thing. Residents would sit in one place all day,no interactions or anything, no movement, just in their chairs. She would tell me horrible stories about how the nurses were treating her. I will say the rooms are decent, and there are a few good people who work there, even one of the best nurses I've ever met, but the bad outweighs the good here when it comes to your family getting the treatment they deserve. This place just does not care. PLEASE do not trust them with your loved ones.

Too many of the nurses lack the empathy one would want for their loved one. The facility is dated and patient rooms are not kept clean. None of the information we were given verbally matched up with the paperwork received. When we attempted to cancel prior to the assessment our deposit was cashed and we were told there was no refund available, even though they admitted the information we received was incorrect. Our attempts to reach the owners have been met with total silence. Please don't make the same mistakes we did in trusting Autumn Care.
