We have a 1979 super glide in mint condition now that we had it repainted we would not trade it for a new bike. He laced the real wheel and mounted it on the bike. The starter motor was bad. Was riding the bike one day and it made a popping noise which fried the charging system. He repaired that also. He's great at his job and really knows what he is doing. Unlike some shops that say they can work on an old bike and then screw it up. If you need your bike worked on I suggest not waiting until the spring or summer, as he's super busy. His prices are reasonable too. We lived in Florida for 23 years and there were several shops that could work on old bikes in the Tampa Bay Area, but not so here two hours north of Detroit and the burbs.

I figured I would be dealing with it Tuesday morning after the holiday weekend. While waiting for the wrecker, I googled auto repair for Kalkaska. I thought maybe I could get lucky and find a place open in the morning. I found Johnny's and it said 24/7 repair (I thought, yeah sure). I call and Jonny picks up. His words were if he can get the parts, he would get it done. Long story short, I had friends pick up my 5th wheel and wife and take them camping. I stayed behind with the hopes it would be complete as soon as possible. I made it to the campground with my truck back in order by midnight. Everybody at the campground were waiting for my call to come and get me because they all said there is no way it would be done before the END of the weekend.
