Dr. Anthony Holcomb, in Rusk, TX and staff, are like stepping back, in time, when things were so simple. So attentive and doesn't rush, even though he is extremely busy. His level of knowledge, experience is apparent, as is his live for animals. He also understands the important relationship of pets and their owners. His staff mirrors his care, kindness and professionalism.  What a wonderful country, top notch veterinarian in our area. Yes, he treats all creatures, great and small. Amazing!

Just letting folks know that the practice has sold, prices are skyrocketing! Our dog who never…read moremissed a heartworm prevention pill, was refused to just refill, we have never been forced to get bloodwork before, we always signed the waiver. I was told new owners required YEARLY bloodwork now. I called my old out of state vet, where we are moving to, and they still allow waivers, but I had already had my dogs check up, and vaccination done, so to avoid having to repeat an office call, I had to let them draw the blood to get the medication. Guess what, it was negative, but just away for them to squeeze another $58 out of me. This office is part of the problem here in town, people can't afford to be responsible pet owners, the prices are getting to high. They clearly haven't spent money on the office space, it's really just a dumpy little tiny place. Makes me sad that the care is now just how can we grab money, not being happy the dog is being well taken care of. We see a big difference in the time we started there, new owners seem very corporate minded.

I would recommend this veterinarian to anyone. Dr Brown saved my cat multiple times during his stomatitis flair ups that cause my little guy to completely stop eating, literally starves to the brink of death. My cat has required multiple emergency visits for dehydration. Dr Brown prevented this little guy from having to be put down on more than one occasion. I cannot express enough gratitude. I hope God always blesses these amazing people!!

I cremated him yesterday and when i went to get any reports at all from them, Darlene in the Jacksonville office lied to us and said his chart was in the Bullard office. OK...We drive to the Bullard office to get his chart and they said his chart is in Jacksonville. Additionally, the owner's wife, Misty Alexander said I was banned from their place of business for even asking when the conversation got heated and I caught them in a three lies so far..
